the racoon vs. UllarWarlord in a Pokemon Battle!

Yup, here we are. Let's assume we're at a tournament arena, where all attacks are possible.

    In my corner:

    [Marowak] (Guardia) <Female>
    Type: Ground

Abilities: Rock Head, Lightningrod, Battle Armor

    Moves:
    Growl
    Tail Whip
    Bone Club
    Leer
    Headbutt
    Focus Energy
    Bonemerang
    Rage
    False Swipe
    Thrash
    Fling
    Bone Rush
    Endeavor
    Double-Edge
    Retaliate

    Detect

    Smack Down
    Earthquake
    Double Team

    And in theracoon's corner:

    [Cacturne] (Iago) <Male>
    Type: Grass/ Dark

    Abilities: Sand Veil/ Water Absorb

    Moves:
    Poison Sting
    Ingrain
    Leech Seed
    Spikes
    Needle Arm
    Sucker Punch
    Sandstorm
    Pin Missile
    Faint Attack
    Cotton Spore
    Payback
    Revenge

    Seed Bomb

    Substitute
    Swords Dance
    Focus Punch

We both send out our Pokemon in the empty arena. There is no crowd to watch us; this is but a training match.

    Your move, theracoon.

Iago, the tall cacturne emerged from its pokeball with a sinister snigger. It eyed up his opponent, before adopting a loose fighting stance, his legs slightly crouched and its wickedly spiked arms hanging by it's sides.

"Iago, let's blitz him! Use Seed Bomb!" Hearing the command Iago raised it's arms loosing a storm of large green projectiles at the marowack.

"If it dodges follow up with a leech seed, but if he defends use substitute and ingrain. If he counters protect yourself with a cotton spore."

    Ullar smirked.

"Who says I need to dodge...in fact, she'll be standing still! Guardia, use Double Team!" Instantly, two clones of the Marowak appeared alongside her, causing the Cacturne to become disoriented, and the Seed Bombs to do only residual damage. The plant then interpreted it as defending, placing a doll in front of himself, and placing roots in the ground.

"Now I know you can do better than that. Guardia! Use Bonemerang! Break the Substitute on the first time around, then hit the Cacturne on its way back! Then use Double-Edge to knock him out of those roots! If he defends himself, simply use Focus Energy!

Iago was confused for a second, before recognising the move. As the bonemerang smashed through it's substitute, Iago instictively swayed backwards under the returning bonemerang.

Racoon smiled, everything was still under control; "Use cotton spore, but mix it up!" Iago's arms became covered in a light fluff. The, with a nefarious giggle he threw it over the arena, poison stings mixed in.

"If he keeps attacking you'll have enough time to dodge, if he does anything else swords dance."

Guardia was focusing its energy, and calmly caught the bone as it finished, pumped up and ready to fight.

"Guardia, use Detect to dodge the Poison Cotton! And just so he won't have anywhere to run, use Earthquake!"

The MArowak grinned and adeptly dodged the toxic fleeces. She then plunged her bone into the ground, shattering the earth all around her.

Iago's ingrain was a very double edged sword here. Knowing he would never uproot himself in time, he crouched into a tight guard, using the roots to reduce the movement of the eart, and thus took less damage. Iago swayed back up again, retracting the torn roots.

"Swords Dance Iago, then you know what to do!" Iago rocked backwards and forth, the dark patches growing into large needles. If Guardia did not attack, he would use a combination on faint attack and Needle Arm. If she did he would Sucker Punch and follow it up with a seed bomb.

"Let's see how he can handle being a sitting duck at range. Bonemerang, Guardia! And to give it a bit more oomph, combo it with Fling! Then, smack those Seed Bombs right back at him with a Bone Club!"

Iago's sucker punch slammed the bonemerang out of the way, however his seed bombs didn't connect.

"So you think we can't deal with ranged combat?" Racoon smiled "Pin missile!"

Iago's arms glowed and several large needles flew towards the Marowak, gaining speed.

"Follow up with a leech seed!" Iago flung a handful of seeds after the missiles. "If she doesn't attack back, wind up for a focus punch, if she does, hit her with a faint attack!"
