Bad news and good news.
The bad news is, photoshop is still continuing to fail to not fail and I have no idea what's wrong, so I'm basically just doing the same thing over and over until it works.
The good news is, I will be accepting more applications until it ceases to fail.
Well, I'm still here. I hope everyone else doesn't mind waiting a bit.
Have you tried GIMP before? It's a free program that works much like Photoshop. It's built and arranged differently, so it takes a bit of getting used to. But it should be adequate enough to make a map without needing to know the advanced inner workings of the program.
Hmm, have you considered reinstalling photoshop? If so, then maybe try torrenting a different version and using that?

Okay, just checked and my temperamental photoshop is working again! Unfortunately, that means applications are also closed again. I have class right away, but when I get back I'll finish the map and get things moving.
