    - [Advanced] 1x1 Fantasy Action/Romance RP! (MxF)

So, I've offered this scene up to a couple people in the last few days, and it's seemed to be a swing and a miss both times. So! I figured maybe I'd offer it up to the general populace and see if I get any decent takers for it!

Before we get too far into this however, let's go over a few things that you may need to know.

    My Rules

    - While I usually play female characters... I'm looking to play male for the purposes of this scene.
    - I don't really like fandoms. Crossover characters will not be accepted...
    - I have little to no limits as far as mature content goes.
    - I will only play via PMs, this is partially to avoid people accidentally walking in on any mature content, and mostly because it's easier to keep track of PMs than forum postings.
    - I reserve the right to refuse a scene to anyone for any reason... These reasons will generally be because you are rude, but may be because your character simply doesn't fit for the scene...
    - I don't usually play on forums... normally, I RP via MUSHes. The terminology is different... In general Scene=RP and pose=post.

Other than that, unless you have any questions, the scene is as follows:

Anselm Aruein has been referred to as a hero for almost a decade now, after saving the human nations from enslavement and paving the way for the small scattered human villages of the time to grow and combine into the sprawling kingdoms that they are now. The legends tell of the story of his victory over the dragon king, and how he bravely sacrificed himself to free all mankind from his oppressive rule!

The stories describe Anselm as a paragon of humanity, the best that humans had to offer... but he's not even fully human himself, being the result of a forced pairing between a human mother and a a monster who would have been his sire.

However, it seems the stories of Anselm's death have been greatly exaggerated... And in truth, he just wants to be left alone. Oh, the stories are true enough. Anselm did indeed save all of mankind, and he did defeat the dragon king, but he didn't do it because he was a hero. He didn't do it for mankind... In fact, he hates mankind almost as much as he did the dragon king himself.

As it turns out, Anselm lives in a small village, one of the few that didn't join one of the greater kingdoms, and still rests far in the north, maintaining a steady fishing trade with both kingdoms and other small villages in the area. He hasn't bothered to change his name, but nobody would suspect the surly half-monster living with the old lady just outside of town to be any sort of hero... He looks more like the villain, in fact.

Your character would be a young woman living in the same village. Pretty, vibrant, though not quite the stupid, pampered city girls of the kingdom cities. You're also a competent fighter, with a desire to go out and see the world, and perhaps even make a name for yourself! You already know how to take care of yourself in the wilderness around your home, and you've got the common sense to know that those stories are a bunch of bull... Mostly anyway. You have had your suspicions that the Anselm that lives just outside of town may very well be the same one from the stories, but he's so hostile that most of your friends and relatives urge you to simply avoid him entirely when he's in town.

Of course... if you're going to ever get out of this village, you're pretty sure that as good a fighter as you are, and as sure as you are about your survival skills... there are still wild animals out there, and other people... who are no doubt better. So you get it in your head that you need to be trained... and who better to train you than the man you suspect to be the legendary hero himself!

Naturally, he refuses. a lot. He also denies being the hero at all, and spouts all the same nonsense from the stories about the hero being dead, and a human to boot. But you know better, and you're willing to do whatever it takes to convince Anselm that you're worth training!

    ------------------------------

Now, I'm going to want to try to take this OUT of the village at some point, and create an adventure. I'll work out a way to do that, but I wanted to see if what I've got so far is at least appealing to you. If you're interested, PM me and we'll see what we can put together. I cannot be certain that I'll be able to post every day, but I should be able to manage every couple of days at least, assuming my work schedule doesn't get it in the way.

Ideally, the scene will include romance, action, and potentially some mature content (Though it is by no means reliant on said mature content, and if preferred it can be avoided entirely, or we could go the Fade to Black route and just gloss it over.) Anselm's got a backstory and I've got a couple baddies that I'd really like to use for this particular scene.

This is MOSTLY supposed to be fantasy... But I may see fit to add both sci-fi elements and modern day elements based purely on the direction that the scene takes. The world itself is pretty much pre-made... so there are some details about it that might be brought out through RP, that I'd rather not give away in this post.

If you're interested, it's probably best to PM me rather than post here, as I may not look back at this post at all! (Remember, PM's are easier to keep track of.)

I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks!
