You're an average senior in school with average big dreams,collage, romance, high paying profession and the respect of everyone, then you saved her life.
It happened just before the school year began, you were watching the family store* when you saw a beautiful girl with unusual clothing walk past your shopfront..
You'd never seen this girl before and assumed she was visiting someone here so you returned to watching a spider build a Web.
When the beautiful girl returned she was walking strangely stiff legged like some cheap robot toy. You watched her puzzled by her actions as she walked straight to the railway tracks and sat down in the middle of the main line.
You left the shop and walked towards her asking if she was okay, did she need any help and did she.know what she was doing was dangerous.
All the beautiful girl did was sit there with a blank expression and vacant eyes.
A careful girl or boy by nature you thought to look around yourself and see if one of your neighbors were outside to help you, but you were alone.
Moving behind her you slipped your hands under her armpits and started to drag her over the rail when she began weakly struggling.
Annoyed you told her to stop struggling, that's when you heard the horn of a commuter train and knew that now things had gotten scary.
The girl had hooked her foot under some bar stretched across from one rail to the other. Yelling at her to stop fighting you doubled your efforts as the gate bell started ringing as the safety arms dropped down blocking the street.
The train rounded the curve in the tracks and could see you both as it approached at over 80 miles an hour, there was no way he could stop in time.
The train horn screamed, you screamed and managed to pull the girl of the tracks an fall down into the ditch beside the tracks with her on top of you.
Her eyes blinked as her face lit up and she kissed you while the train screeched to a stop.
Embarrassed you finally got her from off of you and rather than look at her as you realised your first kiss had been from a strange girl you brushed the dirt and gravel from your pants.
When you did look up she was gone, which made it hard to explain what had happened.
A week before school you were soaking in the big family tub when out of nowhere the room filled with steam so thick you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Then a splash and a giggle the strange girl was hugging you and she was naked.
”Hi sweetie, how's my hero” she said grinning
”Sorry about all the steam, water displacement when I ported in.
I'm Esmeralda Sirensong, witch of the Emerald Order.
Thanks awfully for saving my life, in the custom of my sisters I now owe everything to you.” She said with a smile
