'Where am I?' Akara thought to herself. She had awoken on the ground amidst the trees with quite a nasty knot on her head. Tenderly she rubbed at the black and purple bump as she took in her surroundings. Not only was she unaware of where she was, but she was also unaware of how she had even managed to get here. The last thing she remembered was working to prepare a feast and celebration for the return of the Emperor back to her lands after a quest that had taken years to complete. Aside from the knot on her head she didn't see any other signs of a struggle or some sort of altercation so she assumed she must have been taken by surprise. But why on earth would someone take her by surprise, snatch her up and dump her off somewhere she was unfamiliar.

She pulled herself to her feet and took one last look around before picking at random a direction that she should head in. Pushing through the underbrush she laughed as she could only imagine how she would look to someone else. Her hair was a mess, frizzy and laden with leaves and small twigs. Her overall appearance seemed dirty with splotched of dirt smudged across patches of her skin. She had no weapons on her person, simply the clothes that she had been in the night before, before everything went dark and she can't remember anything until waking up.

She had been traveling for quite a long time and hadn't come across anyone, any animals or any sign of civilization. She was beginning to think that she had picked the wrong direction to begin traveling in. Deviating slightly from the course that she had chosen the direction she was now heading in she hoped would bring her to a town or village. Something so that she might be able to answer her first question, where was she? These lands did not seem so different than hers as far as vegetation was concerned. As for any other indicators she couldn't say because she really didn't know, but she was determined to find out.
