An Inbetween Magic: The Hunt for the Tree (IC/Open

    Accepted Members + Major NPCs:

The hunt is picking up and gaining momentum at a rapid pace. The West Bank searches the Inbetween furiously to find the Fruit, while the East Bank does the same for a far different purpose. Neither have much clue as to where in the Gardens the Tree lies, but clues abound. In the great Bancroft Manor, the West Bank go over ideas and suggestions with West Bank leader Anderson Bancroft, a powerful sorcerer of ill repute. The East Bank meets to discuss strategy as well, in the far less grand (but also far less conspicuous) Bridge Shadow Inn. There the East Bank, informally lead by Weapons Master Vanessa Bridges, plan ways to find and protect the Tree.

    Anderson Bancroft; Bancroft Manor
The great necromancer strode confidently into the giant library of his home. The books were primarily focused on the histories and legends of the Inbetween, although a good number were also spell books. These sizzled and cracked as Bancroft walked past, all of them giving off a slight glow. Reaching the center of the room, Bancroft admired the large, round table where so much of this quest had been discussed. It was made from black petrified wood, harvested from the Endless Gardens and inscribed with dark, ancient runes. He sat in an ornate chair or onyx and waited for his guests to arrive. They had much to discuss.

    Vanessa Bridges; Bridge Shadow Inn
Vanessa sat at the bar of the Bridge Shadow Inn, a pub so named as it sat in the massive shadow cast by Bancroft Bridge. It was a nice enough place. Not one of those seedy, crime ridden dens down river a ways. But it was secluded, and rarely frequented by West Bankers (though Vanessa knew perfectly well that the majority of West Bankers were just as kind and good as East Bankers.) The barkeep returned with a tray laden with tankards of mead. She paid the man (and included a generous tip,) and, with a nod and a smile to the man, carried the tray to a secluded group table were her rag tag group were to meet.
