Some ideas. Fantasy game, lots of others

I'm just checking to see if anyone would be interested in a game or two I've been thinking of. I'm hoping to get a couple responses so I know whether or not to proceed forward. I'd be looking for something in the casual range, a paragraph or two, as far as the posts go. Good writing, but I'm not gonna be a jerk, just something that entails not only what your character is doing, but how they're thinking and what their motivations are. And this would not be kid friendly style gaming. Cussing, fighting, sex, drugs, and rock and roll, all that good stuff. All the gore, and the dirty comedy and whatnot, I love that stuff. But also maybe not taking ourselves too seriously. It's a role playing "GAME" after all, right? Anyway, on to the heart of the matter. Here are some ideas:

    Fantasy Adventure:
Typical party of adventurers story, but with an emphasis on free-play, and growth of characters. All the characters meet up, and undertake some minor quest, wherein they encounter a potential threat to the world as they know it. An evil cult is hoarding artifacts of great power, and using them to ressurrect some very old, and very dangerous beings. As the party gains skill, the quest would also involve things like political intrigue, and stopping a few other conspiracies if they desired to get involved. Afterall, there's never just one thing going on in a world at one time. Magic users and non magic users are battling for political supremacy, Humans are involved in racial disputes with other races, There's a new King, and not everyone's happy about it. The party members would eventually gain some kind of reputations, and influence with officials. Gain wealth, status, influence, and the world will respond to their decisions as best I can make it do so. Also, I wouldn't mind having help running this if anyone wanted to.

The brief gist of it: A group of travelling adventurers, previously not affiliated with each other, is thrown together somehow. Either their travels converge on a small town where a conspiracy is starting, or they all awake together, previously kidnapped, on a ship. After completing some minor jobs, they'll uncover a large conspiracy involving some artifacts of power, as well as ancient demons, rival kings, and political intrigue. The scope of the whole thing escalates until these guys are standing alone against catastrophic odds. Over the course of this, they'll presumably gain some status, power, and wealth, and transform the world around them. The way the world begins: A large nation is ruled by a powerful mage. In this society, social status is determined by magical prowess. The last king was well respected, but he recently died, and his brother, the new king, is kind of a tyrant. This has caused a seperate nation to splinter off, wherein the social order is generally hateful to and scared of mages. Also, in both nations, there are groups of people causing racial tension between humans and elves, over the two races level of affinity with magics. An ancient evil is about to be reawakened, and the only weapon that can kill it, was scattered to the corners of the world many years ago.

What I'd be looking for is a diverse crew of characters, of mixed races and skill sets, so that there could be some kind of inter-party tensions to iron out as well.

    PI story:
A pair of private investigators (though there's room for other characters, like consultants and police and stuff) gets hired to take on a seemingly inconsequential case. A lady wants to know if her husband is cheating on her or not. But what they find out leaves them in some serious hot water. Somehow, they've run afoul of some heavy hitters in the organized crime business. And there's only one way out now: to take down their new playmates before they get taken down themselves. But nothing is what it seems. The plot twists and turns this way and that, and people you thought you knew, turn out to be more than you could imagine. (As a side note, I'm also toying with throwing some kind of occult/supernatural twist into this, wherein even what isn't what it seems isn't what it seems, but I'm not sure whether or not that'd add to, or hurt the story I'd like to tell.)

    Something else:
A non-traditional take on the japanese tokusatsu genre, preferably something in the sentai or metal hero subgenres. Different kind of character castings, where maybe our characters arent so upstanding and noble. Not so much with all the moral lessons. Throw in a good healty amount of ultraviolence and personal problems, mix it all together with a little raunchy comedy, and stir.

Some kind of family in crisis story. But not like a "we're getting a divorce" every day crisis. Like a national, or at least reigonal crisis, where people could die. Basically, a family goes on some kind of regular vacation, like a camping trip or something that requires isolation and being away from the easy convenience of a city. A natural disaster strikes the area, (But definitely not the zombie apocalypse cause that's too used already for my tastes) and they have to work together to do every day things like find food and stuff, along the way back to civilization. In real time who knows how long it'd take, but the story would really only last like a week maximum of their time in that world, because even that's stretching plausability to its breaking point, and I'd like to keep this one semi-realistic.

I have some other ideas as well, but they're not nearly as fleshed out. Feel free to hit me up if you think they sound promising though, and we can try to fill them in. Most of them are set in more modern settings, all with much less (but usually still some) element of fantasy

    1. A team of ghost hunters filming a TV pilot accidentally awaken a demon during their investigation, and have to find some way to contain it/kill it/cast it out, before it either kills them all, or escapes.

    2. Set in the wild west, a group of gunmen runs headlong into some old school heaven versus hell business. The story will also involve some immortals, maybe they've been in this fight before?

    3. The least fleshed out idea of all. Something modern realistic. People taken hostage, teaming up to fight back against their captors, and battling back against that group's agenda.

If you guys read this far, then thanks a lot. If anything sounds good let me know. Alternatively, if anything sounds bad, also let me know, so I can try to improve it.
