Everything still felt so surreal. Not long ago Scarlett and her friend Lexi were back home training, working in what would be considered a small league wrestling company. In the blink of an eye it seemed, they were now two of the newest divas in WWE. They hadn't been there very long, just long enough where they had made their first debut on television. Still it was all so new and exciting to her.
"Who are you thinking of asking?" She asked her friend as they were in the locker rooms. They were one of the ones that could pick a partner for the up and coming survivor series. Of course it had to be a wrestler since it was going to be a mixed tag team for a new championship belt. It was sort of like what they did on TNA, she thought. How O.D.B and Eric Young had tag team championship belts.
Currently she wore a little blue outfit. Most all of the divas wore provocative clothing and she didn't mind to much as long as it wasn't anything to slutty looking. She already had thoughts of who she wanted to ask but wanted to make sure her and Lexi weren't thinking of the same person, though in the back of her mind she kind of doubted that would happen.
Lexi had felt her life take on that of a whirlwind. She could not believe she was here. It had been the dream and they had finally made it. It was all just so... so amazing! All the new experiences and getting to meet her idol's she was in heaven and nothing could bring her down from her high. She had calmed down a little now, she didn't squeak like a teenage fangirl every time she saw a wrestler she liked and she was more herself now but she still couldn't help the bubble of excitement for being here.
And to top it off, they had been invited to pick their partners and compete in the up coming Survivor Series. It all happened so fast, but she owed a lot to Scarlett, they had been through it all together through the hard and the good. She turned to her friend as she was lacing up one of her boots. They were flat all-star converse boots that had been a gift from her brother when she first started in the WWE and she never did anything without them. They were her lucky charms.
Her outfit was a little slutty, but she liked it, the bright orange hot-pants and matching cropped top with a sparkling blue flame down one side was something of perfection for her and she loved wearing it. She always wore dark smoky eye-shadow whenever she was around people and her lips were their customary blood red. She thought about Scarlett's question and blushed a little, trying to hide it with her hair.
"Oh, uh.. I was thinking I may ask Randy.. Take my chances." She said, glancing up at her friend. "Do you have anyone in mind?" She asked curiously, finishing with her boot and stretching slightly. She didn't think Scarlett had the same person in mind, but knowing her friend it would be an equally difficult person to get on side. None of them seemed to ever go for easy options.
Scarlett finished putting on her lip gloss as she listened to the response. Makeup wasn't something she was super into and usually just wore a little lipstick and mascara with eyeshadow. Eye liner, blush, and all that other stuff just wasn't something she cared much for. Besides that, she couldn't put eyeliner on if her life depended on it. For some reason it was just annoying and frustrating t her. For that reason she just stuck with the basics and had some creamy eyeshadow on that seemed to go well with her dark blue eyes.
If Scarlett were honest her outfit probably looked a little sluttier than her friends. As long as no one tried to call her a whore then she wouldn't care. If they did then, well, they probably would wish they hadn't. What she wore might have been considered the 'norm' since it was a blue belly showing tube ton along with matching tight fitting shorts that probably would have passed off more for undergarments than anything else.
The person Lexi told her didn't surprise her. Not so much the person she said but the fact that they both always had to go the difficult route. Randy wouldn't be easy convincing just like the person she was thinking of would be very difficult too. "Yeah, I was kind of thinking about asking Punk," she said while taking a seat. "It won't be easy, I know, but when did we ever pick easy routes?" She asked with a laugh.
Lexi walked to the full length mirror, ruffling her hair into it's usual mess and considering their options. She shrugged a little. "Punk seems like a legitimate idea, he's doing well.. and lets be fair, if we can get them to agree we could go down in history..." She laughs at that, it would me amusing to try and get them on side. But they thrived on challenge in Lexi's opinion so it should all work out fine. She turned to Scarlett with a grin, spinning on the spot.
"And working with guys seems like a dream, we get more time on doing mixed doubles and who doesn't like being up close with hot sweaty men." She winks, giggling a little and moving to her locker to spritz herself with a little perfume. She was a little nervous about asking, but how bad could it be? The worse is that they say no, and Lexi was sure the two of them could convince them. They weren't quitters that was for sure and they would succeed at whatever they came across.
Lexi gave a firm nod and a grin. "We could always try and corner them at some point and work together.. who could resist two stunning ladies like us?" She asks, giggling and plopping herself down on the nearest bench. "Plus, I think it would be better with both of us to back each other up.."
Nodding Scarlett knew her friend was right. They could very well skyrocket to the top fast if they had wrestlers like them on their sides. Lacing up her black high heel boots she felt a little nervous about asking. Who wouldn't be when they were newcomers and about to ask a former world heavy weight champ and former wwe champ, as well as the other was about to ask the current wwe champ. One would have to be crazy not to be nervous about going up and talking to be of them.
Hearing that made her burst out laughing. "Where do you come up with such thoughts?" She asked jokingly. "Oh wait, never mind we both think just like that," she grinned lightly. It was true, the two of them didn't exactly have 'innocent' thinking in general. Scarlett wouldn't say that she had a gutter mind but she was pretty darn close. Working in doubles would be a lot more interesting she thought. Normally divas didn't really get to be out in the ring with wrestlers all that much so this would be interesting.
Absentmindedly checking her hair she always liked to make sure it was in its usual soft curls. "Yeah that's a good idea. They probably won't be happy with it," she grinned. "It would be smart to be able to look out for each other. You know how newbies get treated here. Well.. at least what they show on screen wise I mean."
Lexi grinned, it was a proud sort of grin. She was proud of her innuendo's and not quite pure thoughts. She patted Scarlett on the back and gave her a 'peace sign' through the mirror. "We'll go get them and make them fall at our feet!" She declared to her friend and the thing about Lexi was, if she said something with conviction, she would do it no matter the costs.
She never showed fear or nervousness, but she felt it inside. She knew Scarlett would know she wasn't as confident as she appeared but her confidence was her mask and it's how she got by. Some called her arrogant and obnoxious but she didn't care. She was who she was and she wouldn't change for the world.
"Is it wrong that because they wont be happy that I'm all the more excited to do it?" She asked absently, still staring at them both in the mirror. It always felt surreal to see them both like this, moreso when she heard either of their themes coming out of the arena speakers. It always gave her thrilling chills when she heard the songs. "Yeah, the newbie treatment is so uncool. But it gives us a chance to show how badass we can be!" She says happily.
Scarlett laughed, "Oh I don't know about all of that," she said and couldn't really see either one 'falling to their feet'. The thought was funny even if it wasn't something she could see happening. Either way she wasn't planning to leave the conversation with 'no' for an answer. The woman had her ways of being able to get what she wanted.
Of course she knew her friend wasn't as confident as she was acting but didn't mind that. She herself tried to appear more confident than she was most of the time. At the same time she was a bit more of a laid back personality and did enjoy that aspect of herself since it was a lot harder to rile her up except for certain things that could set her off.
"A little," she said with a laugh and didn't know why her friend was so excited because the guys wouldn't be happy with what they were going to ask. "Your right. They really don't know what we can do yet," she grinned lightly and liked being considered an underdog. "Well lets go get this done shall we?" She asked while getting up and was nervous yet looking forward to the exchange.
Lexi grinned and jumped up in an excited show. "Lets go get 'em girl!" She cheers, grabbing Scarlett's hand and pulling her towards the door. She was ready and nothing could stop her as she stalked through the halls to find her prize. She was ready, she was confident and she could do this!
...She could not do this... Her nerve started failing her when she walked around the corner and caught the two men she was after heading towards the canteen. She faltered in her step, biting her lip. "Although... they look awefully busy.. maybe we shouldn't bother them yet..." She said a little shyly, attempting to move in the other direction.
She hated herself for it, it made her feel weak and stupid, but what could she do? Talking about it and actually doing it were two completely different things. She sighed, feeling ashamed of herself but not wanting to admit it to her friend.
