As We Lay In the Wake of Destruction

STORY:

2012 marked the end of an era, but it also marked the beginning of a new one.

After the events of December 23rd, 2012, humans around the world celebrated the end of an era. The end of the supernatural era. It all began in 2005 when the first battle of the New World Crusades began, and from there, for seven years, the humans joined together to fight off the supernatural. They fought tooth and nail against vampires, lycans, demons, angels, fallen angels, witches, succubi, incubi, you name it, they were fought against. The final battle, better known as The Purge, was when the humans thought they had rid the world of most of the supernatural entities.

How wrong they were.

The supernatural went underground to plot their own war against humanity.

Aria, Vampire Princess [Self-exiled], 576.

Her heart was always with her people, she would do anything to protect them, even if it meant going to the ends of the earth to stop the apocalypse from reigning down on them. She had been chosen as leader for the safehouse her father sent off the vampire population that hadn't volunteered to die to. She and her bodyguard were closer than ever now, but her father suspected something between them and when he brings up giving her a new one she threatens to run, and when he made good, she did. She abandoned the people she loved because her father took away the one thing that made her feel like she wasn't what she was. She still protects the vampire people, having a different style of feeding than the rest of her people... She feeds on energy. A kiss in appearance and she gets the sustenance she needs.

She is the hunter's hunter. She resides in the forest, and stayed especially upon news that her beloved bodyguard had been killed on a supply run.

Sceadu Holt~~~Shadow Wisp

Born in the bogs in the British isles, Holt barely notice the traces of man in the early years. As the century turned, industrial construction trampled over its native grounds, and the folks that came with the factories tarnishing his image as a ghostly illusion of misfortune meant to led men astray in the bogs. This kept him alone, but well enough safe until the great Purge came, and mobs with all sorts of exotic weaponry began hunting for him in the mist, seeking to eliminate his apparent threat. Fleeing in his day form, he left his homeland, migrating around as he did his best to avoid the hunts. Eventually he was forced toward deeper and darker forests where Holts glowing apparition would not be so well noticed.
