Rosie nodded, scratching her head a little. "Fine, huh? Well, I'm glad you're fine." She knew that he wasn't fine, but she also knew him well enough not to question it. "I didn't call you a hero, a hero doesn't just desert the people that he supposedly cared about. Only cowards do that." Her gaze narrowed momentarily as she sighed, looking t the finger that played host to her engagement ring.
"So, want to hear about the pickle that I've gotten myself into?" Without waiting for an answer, she slipped the ginormous diamond off of her finger, and showed it to him. "I've often engaged to a guy that everybody loves. But, ironically, the everybody doesn't include me. I have a wedding looming in six weeks, that's costing his family £500,000 and all I can think about is how I can call it off. Any tips?"
