Rosie had always being this energetic and happy. Before he could handle it but right now he hated it. Him not walking was still a rather sore topic. As soon as she mentioned that she'd heard all sorts of tales of heroism, he shot her down. "Don't give me the hero status. I'm not a hero." He simply told her, having lost his sense of humor for now.
"I knew Harry would be made." He said quietly running a hand over his face. He'd severed that relationship by leaving. Honestly though, going out to fight he thought he was going to die. He figured severing ties early on was better than hurting the ones he loved most. The only person he'd kept in contact with was his father, and that was only because it would have hurt his father more to have ties severed than to have his son keep in contact but die.
"I'm fine." Jamie chewed out though it was the biggest load of bullshit he'd said in a long time. He was anything but fine. "I'm the same old Jamie I was before I left." He added.
