    [Suspect]The Class Project[Des]

There was a silence in the room, this early morning. An arm could be seen dangling from the edge of the bed. The silence was soon interrupted by the blaring of his alarm clock. Scott moaned and groaned, roll around in the bed and pulled the covers over his head, hoping to drain out the sound of the noise. Didn't work. He threw the covers from over his head and to the side as he extended his arm out and shut the device off. He laid back down on his side but this time, his cell phone started to ring. It was Professor Thomas, or Tommy, as he likes to be called. He answered it and Professor Thomas wasted no time talking. "Hello there, Scott. Hope you are almost ready because the buses leave in thirty minutes. See ya' soon!" He hanged up the phone just as the Professor did. 'Thirty minutes!' He though inside of his head as he sprung up out of bed, throwing a bag on his bed and packing it with clothes, food and water.

When that was over, he ran over towards the bathroom and ran the shower water while a toothbrush was stuck in his mouth. He brushed his teeth rapidly then spat as his mouth was filled with toothpaste and spit. He ran his hand over his lips, wiping away the excess exposure of toothpaste. Scott then stripped down and got in the shower, which only lasted for about three minutes. Quickest shower of his life. He put on a pair of blue jean shorts, a Hollister shirt and tennis shoes. He didn't really care about his appearance, since he was late.

He grabbed his packed bag and threw it over his shoulder, he rummaged through his closet and grabbed his sleeping bag and camera then he was off towards the pick-up area. "5...4...3..." Professor Thomas was counting down, if you were late, you didn't go on the trip. "I'm here!" Scott came zooming out of nowhere, bumping into some of the kids. "Oh, sorry." His scanned towards Professor Thomas as he clapped his hands together to get everyone's attention. He laid down some basic ground rules and the usual what to and what not to do type ordeal.

Scott rolled his eyes then smiled when Professor Thomas told them to select a buddy then get on the bus. 'Buddy, really? We're in college for Christ's Sake!' Scott looked left then looked right then shrugged his shoulders as he walked towards the bus and got on, sitting beside himself, settling his bags beside him as he stared out of the window.

The sun came pouring in through the windows of her room. She groaned loudly, pushing herself under the covers, trying to open her eyes, or at least force herself to shut the loud alarm. After ten minutes of hiding under the covers, and trying to sleep, she finally turn the alarm off. She sat up, stretching. Ashley York, a nineteen years old, rolled out of bed, dropping herself on the floor, picking herself up quickly. She was a clumsy person, that was why she didn't want to go to the camp, not really. She had to though, for the photography class.

She pushed her soft brown curls off her pale, numb face, whinning, as she made her way to the bathroom. She looked at the clock there, and she had a good hour before their bus took off, lucky her lived by the college. Her wide brown eyes rested softly, as she started to brush her teeth, spitting it out. She stripped down, and stepped in the shower, turning it to the cold water, she needed to wake up after all. She. Stepped out after about twenty-five minutes, freezing to death, now wide awake. She slipped on her clothes, dressed in her ripped jeans, and baby blue blouse, along with her black converse. She brushed her wet hair, pushing it into a high bun.

Twenty minutes left, she walked out of the bathroom, and started checking everything, making sure she was all ready, and safe to go. Then she hurried to the campus. Ten minutes before the bus leaves.'Great! Now Tommy seems like he is going to kill me..' she thought, then looked down to her phone, to see the missed calls from her professor. She whined, and gave him an adorable smile, flashing her left dimple. "Sorry" She mouthed.

She climbed in the bus, giggling at the buddy comment, but he really wasn't kidding, so she looked around, she wasn't that friendly, and no body seemed to be interested enough in her anyway. Sure she hanged around some people, but no body was an 'actual' friend. She watched everybody take a seat by another, and her eyes landed on Scott, at least she believed his name was Scott. She made her way over, and cleared her throat softly. "Can I sit here?" She asked, already pushing his stuff on his lap, sitting down.

Scott ears twitched, head turned when he heard the sound of a female's voice ring through his ears. 'Can I sit here?' She asked him as he pointed at his bags then smirked. "Sorry but my bags are sitting here. Now, move along." He said while leaning back in his seat, folding his arms over his chest and crossing his legs. Professor Thomas came up behind Ashley and spoke. "Please take your seat beside, Scott here. Sure he won't mind, will you Scott?" Scott rolled his eyes then took his bags and placed them on the floor below his feet as he didn't even bother looking back at the girl or the professor, his eyes was focused on the outside of the window.

The bus engine hummed and the doors were now closed. "Hell, here we come." Scott mumbled as he eyed Ashley then rolled his eyes. He wasn't a perky person, or friendly, especially not for some girl. He let out a soft huff, which could be seen on the window. He felt the piercing eyes of Professor Thomas looking at them, since they were the only ones not talking on the entire bus.

Ashley was about to move on, but the professor had saved her from going around the bus, searching for an empty seat. She plopped herself down by his side, smiling up at their professor. "Thank you." She said, then turning her head away from the professor's direction. She felt the guy's huff, and he started getting on her nerves. She bit her lip, before tapping his shoulder. " Look, hun. This is supposed to be fun, and you are not supposed to be all grumpy just cause I took a seat beside you. Now if you will please stop huffing, smile, and pretend to speak to me, I will really appreciate it. Last thing I want is Tommy lecturing us about being anti-social." She said, faking a smile, knowing the professor was probably watching.

She turned to stare at the back of the seat that was in front of her. "Plus. I am not that bad, you know. I am not going to bother you about my nails, or my hair, but if you keep it up, I might have to." She added, as she rolled her eyes. She looked out of the window from his side, as it was the nearest window, now wondering how the camping was going to be like, hoping she wouldn't be permantly pairedwith this guy, she pulled out her phone, checking a new text.

Scott looked and listened at Ashley then waited until she was finished. "Oh, hate those type of lectures." He said while sitting up, getting comfortable then turned towards Ashley. "Remember when he stopped class to lecture fifteen minutes about paying attention. I wanted to die." He said with a hint of laughter afterwards then stared at the back of the bus at Professor Thomas and waved with a smile. He then turned to face forward and smiled towards Ashley, giving her shoulder a nudge with his. "You know, you might be alright." He said with another soft smile curving among his lips.

The bus ride was going great, Ashley may not be a bad person at all As she said, she could be the girl that talked about her nails and hair, which he hated. His eyes went towards her again then turned away, as she was checking her phone for a text. He looked out of the window and seen a sign that read "Historical Campground". "Alright kiddos, we're almost there." The Professor spoke with a hint of laughter. "Professor Thomas, we are in college not elementary school." Scott said as the kids laughed on the bus then their Professor had to calm everybody down, not wanting to distracted the bus driver.

Ashley rolled her eyes, at the memory of the lecture. She giggled softly. But he is a good teacher after all. I learn quite a lot from him, inside, and outside of the lecture." She said, as she looked back at the professor, waving too. She turned down to her texts again, replying, but then felt the nudge. She looked back up at him, and a blush spread across her cheeks. Was she making friends? She just smiled at him sweetly.

She looked out of the window, as they were driving through the gates now. She whined softly, she hated camping, she was really clumsy, and she never went back home safe from camping. She looked back at their professor. " Can't I please go home? Pleaseeee?"She begged, her eyes begging him too, giving him the cutest puppy face that she could pull out.

As they drove through the gates, Scott laughed at Ashley as she was begging to go home, already. "Why are you ready to go home, so soon? Is it me?" He laughed as the bus stopped and their Professor stood up and started speaking, all eyes were on him. "Alright, everyone please exit the bus in an orderly fashion and stand right there." Scott eyes went over to where he had pointed, which was close to some woods. "Hope the crazy people don't get us." He laughed a little bit, scaring one of the other people. "It was a joke." His eyes went back over to Ashley then looked away from her. Were they becoming friends? No one has ever had Scott like this. He's a troublemaker, that's what he's going to be, he is not changing for some girl damn it.

Scott gathered his things and got off the bus, standing with the rest of the group, waiting for Ashley. "Scott! You left your buddy." Professor Thomas got off the bus, along with Ashley. "Well, she shouldn't be so slow." Some of the kids giggled as their professor shook his head and ran his hand over his mouth. "Alright guys, first we are walk through these woods and take pictures of the nature's wildlife then we find a nice place to set up camp. Deal?" The rest of the people cheered and agreed as Scott looked over at Ashley then walked over there beside her, while everyone else started walking ahead. "I think I should apologize for what I said." With him saying that, he turned around and started walking with the rest of the group, hoping Ashley was following behind him.

((Sorry O:! I didn't notice you replied, until now.))

Ashley watched Scott get out as fast as he could, she just sighed, and grabbed her camera, walking down the bus stairs after Tommy. Her wide eyes narrowed at Scott as he said she shouldn't be too slow. She actually thought they were going to be friends, at least until the camp was over. She stood by Thomas, and nodded as he told them what to do. She looked at Scott, and rolled her eyes. "Yeah whatever. Thank you for making it clear. That I am slow." She mumbled, as she followed the group.

She got her camera ready, and brought it to her eye level. She looked through the lenses, zooming in and out, trying to capture a good picture of the green large area. She got a few shots, she was a little slow, but she noticed she was one of the few people who already started capturing pictures. She breathed in deeply, trying not to trip over anything that might face them, still trying to take good shots.

Scott was busy taking pictures, along with the rest of the group. He looked back at Ashley and shook his head then turned to his right, taking a picture of a Blue Jay.

A slight smirk crept among his lips as when Ashley was taking a picture, he popped up in front of her camera, hoping to scare her. Scott laughed then nudged her shoulder anyway. "I'm sorry about that. Just seeing how you were doing. I didn't mean to say you were slow." He said with a slight smile then pointed in the distance, where there was a doe grazing in the grass. "How awesome is that?!" He shouted then got down on one knee, taking pictures of the doe. He then sighed, standing back upright, walking back over to Ashley."So, how..."Professor Thomas blew his whistle and everyone's head turned and started walking his way.

Professor Thomas started talking as the sun was starting to set, as well. "Alright guys, you are doing good with this assignment but the sun is setting, so I want everyone to pick a spot and start pitching tents. And stay close." He eyed everyone, especially the couple of the bunch, Katie and Cody.

Scott shrugged his shoulders then walked a good distance before setting his bag down then grabbed a tent set from Professor Thomas. He was totally confused and lost, considering that he had never put up a tent before. He looked over at Ashley to see how was she holding up then eyed everyone else, as they were almost done with their tents. This is not his type of thing, pitching tents.
