I think I can justify Satanism

I know this sounds crazy, but stay with me on this one. But fist, don’t take this seriously. This is just a whole bunch of “what if” situations. So, let’s say Christianity is not a myth, but in fact truth. So there’s this bearded man in the sky called God. He created the angels, and the main one was this dude named Lucifer. You know, Satan. That boogie-man that lurks in the night and temps people with evil thoughts. Here’s a question…

Why is he so bad?

“Because he’s just evil!” Some people may tell you. Apparently the guy and a whole group of angels were thrown out of heaven for rebelling against God. He must have had a reason for doing so though. Maybe he didn’t agree with some of the ideals that God was coming up with. It makes sense. Rebellions pop up all over the world because of that.

Here’s why Lucifer might be seen as an evil figure. You know the old saying that the winners write the history books? So, the bible, that big book of history, that God influenced? Bingo.

Your premise is a little vague, but I completely see where you're coming from. There are actually a number of branches of Satanism that aren't the "evil" people make them out to be, but that's not to say there aren't evil, extremists within Satanism. Then again, that can be said about any religion, save for perhaps Agnostics.

I thought the sky was colorless, but it was merely the reflection of light on the atmosphere that made it appear to be blue...? I mean, if the sky was actually blue, then looking at Earth from space all we would see is a blue sphere, but we don't, we can see ocean and land and mountains and clouds.

Science has always been on my side.
There's actually a group of people who believe the world is inside-out, and somehow all the stars, sun, and moon fit into the center of the planet. And they think they've proven it too.

.... you know, at some point, every religion was invented... Its not like a random idea popped into everyone's heads and was like "this is the answer. It must be what's right." ... I mean, really, at some point, someone comes up with an idea... Or was "given" it... And then, well, they spread the system of belief to others. Whether its new or not, accepted or rejected by many, still religion. *shrugs*

I feel like people have been worshiping the Devil since the creation of the bible, it was only until the 1960's that some guy possibly coined the terms.
