A couple of years ago, the angel apocalypse started. The angels were sent down by the man upstairs (aka, humanity’s landlord, God) to purge humanity off the face of the Earth for breeding sin and the like, and also being extremely ungrateful and not worshipping him. Though, this time around, instead of balls of fire, a plague, or a full out flood, he thought “Nahhh…this time, I want to watch the little fuckers suffer as their race is slowly wiped out…”
Somehow, humanity has survived for quite a while...with a little insider/outsider help, if you know what I mean...

BASIC RULES:
No godmode, no metagaming, no autohitting. Violence and romance should be mutual. Put "I am Dave! Yognaut" in the “Other:" section...to confirm that you have read the rules. Be polite to your fellow RPers, posts have to be at least one paragraphs long, and you have to wait for two posts before posting again. Two characters maximum per player. If you're thinking of something you know is pretty out there, or if you want to add or change anything, PM me.
Rules Vital to Pacing (Negotiable):
-A Standard NPC Human takes two lengthy paragraphs to down, can be divided between player (1P initiates and participates in combat, 2P participates and finishes combat)
-Trained/Powerful Humans & Standard NPC Angels takes four lengthy paragraphs to down per person, and can be divided however you like
-Archangels, Rare Demon Encounter & Rogue Fallen Angel each take eight lengthy paragraphs to down, at least in the form of two four paragraph posts but may be divided like above
Other Stuff:
-Bonded humans get increased capabilities and one special perk, which can be shared with their bonded angel
-A Demon and A Devil positions given upon request! A Devil can form a contract with a human, which is much like bonding with the human...except humans also get a curse or drawback to go along with it. A Demon can get a beast form/mode.

Bonded perks/powers are dependent on the human, right? like angel a and angel b would get the same power from human c?

Personality: Logical, tries to not let his emotions hold sway, but when he gets angry then he explodes. He can seem distant, but that's so he doesn't grow attached to people. He doesn't want the pain of losing someone again. Is also paradoxically religious, despite the apocalypse and not wanting to get killed by angels.
History: Thomas was born and raised in Illinois. Went to the University of Chicago, then went into local politics. When the angels came, he had to cut and run, and managed to escape the wave of destruction that swept over the nation. Since then, he has been on the run, trying to survive. Sometimes though, he fights back if given a shot that won't risk his life. Because he won't let himself give in, because he believes that they can't just let 'angels' walk all over them. He can fight, he just knows when it's better to retreat.

I'm staring at the closed demon spot intensely. Although I am thinking about downgrading my original character's powers even more to avoid over-powered moments.
