As Draco stepped out the door, a warm gust of wind blew down the street from this abandoned house. It was pretty hot out considering it was summer and in Mexico. Sweat dripped down the side of his head. "Man it's time to live." he said. He's been waiting for this moment his whole life and he's excited to finally make that first step.

Audrey followed out right behind him and grinned as she took a deep breath. "Its been time. We're just really late." She chuckled as she stood beside him and stared at the outside world. "So...Where should we go first? Got any family you might wanna visit or something?" She asked curiously before the thought of her family made her frown and sigh sadly. She missed them so much. But it was better that she didn't see them.
"I'll walk out before I get walked on."
Draco looked over at Audrey "Not really any family. Kaine was probably the closest to family I had. What about you? Would you like to visit anybody before we go explore the world together?" he smiled and moved with so much excitement and had a tear in his eye. He couldn't wait to get started exploring the world with the most amazing girl ever at his side.
Audrey shook her head and sighed softly. "No. I have family but.....I don't want them to be in danger at all. I mean we could pass by for a bit if we ever pass by...." She mumbled before looking up at him amd smiling faintly as she wiped the tear. "This is going to be awesome. We're finally free. We can do whatever we want." She breathed, staring up at the sky. "You know, I've always wanted to visit New York."She added in. Her green and purple eyes danced with happiness as she thought about all the things they could do now.

Draco looked over at Audrey "I want to go to New York with you, so you can finally visit there like you always wanted, but I think we should wait a couple months before we head back into the United States. The Company is located there, and it's pretty much their headquarters." He sighs because he doesn't want to disappoint Audrey. He loves her a lot and wants to make her as happy as possible, but he also needs to be logical so they can't catch up and find out where they are. "We should head to the bigger part of the city so I can withdraw some money that I've accumulated over time. We'll be able to fly out of Mexico and go somewhere more 'Touristy' " he chuckled as he said that, still not being able to believe that he can go! Twenty years, stuck in that facility. He's been there as long as Audrey is old.

Audrey sighed and shrugged. "Yeah, I guess you're right." She muttered quietly, obviously disappointed. All she really wanted to do was visit a place that felt familiar in a way. Somewhere she could feel at home. Safe. Where she wouldn't have to watch her back all the time. But Fallen Shadows was searching for them. That brought her mind to another topic, the group they had left. "I wonder if they're alright...Its been awhile since we left." She mused, knowing Draco would know who she meant. "I know we can't visit them. But I just wonder..." She added in as she slowly walked down the steps.

"I wonder also, I'm sure they are fine." Draco looked forward to this moment and won't ever look back. "I'm sorry, I know how difficult it must be for you." He replied quietly "It's been so long since I've had a place to call home, that I just don't mind anymore where I am." As they walk down the road a dog runs down the side of the road barking happily as a little boy chases him. "Do you think if we go somewhere and stay for a while, it'll feel more like home?" He asked seeing the boy chase the dog reminded him of when he was little, always enjoying things in life.
"Its ok. It really is." Audrey said as she grabbed his hand and squeezed it reassuringly. She offered a small, weak smile as she debated between telling him the truth ot lying to make him happy. She decided the truth was best. "Uh. I don't really know, Draco. Honestly? Probably not. Home is where you can feel safe and not worry about the outside world. You and me, we don't get that. We'll probably be tracked the rest of our natural lives." She sighed with a look of sadness and regret overcoming her features.

Draco looks down and away as he hears this, feeling depressed and saddened because he can't give her want he wants too. He begins to kick a rock on the road as he walks, "I guess it's different for me." He said quietly continuing to kick the rock. "You're like my home. I feel safe around you, I feel at peace." He said shyly. He kicks the rock to far to the side and it's out of reach as he passes it. He looks up and see's that the city is within a couple miles. A bit of his sadness for Audrey goes away as he gets excited at the thought he can get out of this country.
He continues to think, "Should we go by plane? I doubt it sense it's just so high security, we might have to hitch a ride on a cargo boat, I'll have plenty of money to be able to bribe one." He puts it aside for now as they are only 500ft outside of the city.

Audrey felt guilty as he called being with her home. Great. I messed up. Again. She thought sadly. "I'm sorry. It's just that...I'm in a totally different place with totally different people." She sighed. "I just miss everything being familiar. Now you're the only familiar thing left." She said before looking up at the approaching city. "Yeah, that would work. I wonder where we should go. Maybe like an island or something....Or maybe like Italy or England!" Audrey exclaimed as excitement began to flow from her. This would be a new start for them. A new life.
