"If you actually talked to her, you'd understand. I'm not the source of her disappearance. You need to calm down, if you are the alpha male you will also need to learn 'reason' other than just brute strength so you know what you have to do for your family. I'm 249 years old, why would I do anything to upset anyone now?" He asked, "I don't care if you don't trust me, I only care if she trusts me." Showing him his complete and absolute concern for her.
"I don't blame you for her disappearance. I'm blaming you for her future one." Matthew said with a smug smirk. "You may be old but that does not mean you are strong. I know what I talk about. I'm simply watching out for my younger and only sister." He replied as he pushed himself off the wall. "That's all I had to say. Bye elf boy." He waved at Draco before disappearing down the hall.
"I'll walk out before I get walked on."
Draco chuckled, "I understand." 249 years of hand-to-hand combat, I doubt you could win. Brute strength doesn't count for shit if you don't know how to apply it correctly. He thought as he walked to Audrey and cuddled back in with her. She had the sweetest scent.
Audrey's eyes opened slightly before she ended up closing them again. "What did Matt wanna talk about?" She asked softly as she cuddled into his chest, nuzzling his chest. "I hope he didn't.....*yawn*......go all angry alpha on you....." She sighed quietly.
"I'll walk out before I get walked on."
"He said if I ever heart you he'd kill me, but he didn't get all angry on me." He assured her as he put his arm around keeping himself and her warm. "He seemed like a good brother." He said as he put his head down.
Audrey simply nodded and mumbled her acknowledgement, "Mhm....." She smiled softly as she placed her arms on his chest, getting comfortable. Everything felt complete right now. Even though they technically weren't safe and didn't have a real home her life felt a whole, something that she had never felt since she left her family. "I love you Drac....." She muttered quietly before drifting off.
"I'll walk out before I get walked on."
As he listened to her breathing he could tell she fell asleep. Ah why the hell not. He thought and started to drift to sleep as well. It's been a while since he could sleep with someone so regularly and he enjoyed that.
Audrey's eyes fluttered open a couple hours later. She looked up at Draco's face and smiled softly. So this is what it feels like to be content? I like it. No, I love it. She thought. She enjoyed the feeling of being in his arms and laid her head on his chest, laying there awake and thinking.
