[Adventure Time] The Chronicles Ooo: The Ooopacalypse

Hey there anyone late to the party! The OOC's up already, but feel free to read through the interest check!

I'm planning to start an RP, set in the Adventure Time universe. It takes place in The Land of Ooo, set in the distant future where most of the main cast is already deceased and a part of history. In this future scenario, new kingdoms and lands have arisen, but the world still thrives. Thing have been calm and peaceful, or as peaceful as Ooo could be, until recently when a mysterious extraterrestrial race known as the Noodlum showed up and began attacking.

The RP is to be in the Casual Roleplay section, and I expect proper grammar and spelling and effort in your writing if you join, so please keep that in mind before applying.

I already have an OOC written and it will be posted eventually, but I'm checking to see if anyone would be interested first. Here is the basic plot synoposis, taken from the OOC:

Set in the Adventure Time universe, The Chronicles of Ooo takes place in The Land of Ooo, in a period of time long after the Adventure Time cast's lifetime (with the exception of certain characters of immortalesque lifespans, such as the Ice King and Marceline.)

There is a darkness growing over The Land of Ooo, as a mysterious force has been taking control of kingdoms and assembling an army of evil. Strange spacecraft-like vehicles have been seen, terrorizing the people and spacesuited soldiers have been attacking. It's up to a new generation of heroes to vanquish this alien threat and free Ooo from their clutches! Will they be able to handle this enemy? Or will they fall victim to the force's power?

Interested, could i be a character based around movies, games and music from the 80s?

@BigBullCrocker- Yeah. Just about any kind of character is possible in the Adventure Time universe, it seems. The Land of Ooo is seemingly endless, so an infite amount of worlds are possible.

Just make sure you explain everything in the Character App once I post the OOC.

Ok i decided he will play on all the nostaligic things that i know of, so expect an absurd amount of David Bowie, NES games and escape from New York.

@BBC- Okay, just be sure to explain how he knows of these things if he directly mentions them. For example you could say those are real things he came across in a time capsule or something, or they are figments of his imagination/hallucination.

But ah, I trust you'll give a logical explanation.

Oh wow. I just realized that I completely butchered the name of the RP due to one little slip in the thread title.

It should be The Chronicles of Ooo not The Chronicles Ooo. But whatever, I'm sure the basic idea got across.

Is it fine if I make a character that revolves around a city of duck men that dress very colorfully and vomit rainbows? Sounds dumb, I know, but I want to rule over rainbow ducks.

@Dharc- Go for it man. From watching Adventure Time you can see that Ooo is a bizarre and colorful world full of endless possibilities, so rainbow ducks aren't far-fetched. Just write it out well and execute it correctly.

Even I established an original location in my character's backstory- the Veggie Kingdom, ruled by the Carrot Queen.

Also do note, you can use any pre-existing locations from the show too. It'll make more sense once I put up the OOC, after we get a few more potential players.

Also also, hopefully if a few more people are interested I'll post the OOC by tomorrow or Tuesday. Once that's up I'd expect more interest, as it fully illistrates and explains things more.
