After he introduced himself, the man across from him replied with his name as well; his name was Ray Darkfield. Landon had never heard of him before, so he must be an amateur trainer just like him. Though, Landon wasn't just a trainer; he was more of a collector than he was a trainer. He enjoyed catching Pokémon more than pitting them against other Pokémon, but that didn't mean he wasn't knowledgeable or incapable in a battle. When it did come to battling, Landon was actually very capable of forming strategies that suited his Pokémons' abilities, but he was even more skilled when it came to finding and catching Pokémon.

“You battled well, whether you think it was an embarrassment or not”.

The statement from the young man opposite him shocked him quite a bit. Landon took a moment to look at Ray Darkfield, in which time he noticed Ray's gaze drift behind him at his team. He had definitely said that his battle wasn't and embarrassment.

"Thank you for that, though I don't think that woman would agree with you."

Landon's gaze drifted in the direction both women had left in.
