Alice groaned as she rolled over in her bed to turn the loud alarm off. Once the alarm was turned off successfully, she took a quick shower then went out of her room into the kitchen. She saw her friend crouched down over a map of the hospital that they worked at. This was deeply concerning to her. Karin, her roommate, kept talking about the doctor that worked at their hospital. His name was Jacob, and though Alice didn't admit it, she liked him quite a lot. She just hasn't said anything because her friend liked him as well. "Good morning." Alice greeted taking a seat next to Karin. "Hey did you know that next to the operating room there is an emergency exit down the hall?" Karin smiled . Alice looked at the paper and noticed the red line on it.

"What exactly are you doing?" Alice questioned. "Well remember how I told you I like Jacob? Well he doesn't really notice me so I'm going to kidnap him." Karin has always been the one for dramatics, so Alice didn't believe her words. "And you are going to help me." Karin added. "You can't be serious?" Alice half laughed in disbelief. "No I am serious. I love him and I know he loves me too. As my only best friend, you will help me right?" Karin pouted hoping her dear friend would agree. Alice felt like she owed Karin because when she was younger her parents were killed, and Karin's parents took her in and let her live with him when she was 16. Since then she has done anything Karin asked of her.

"I guess I will." Alice felt nervous. Kidnapping a doctor?! How was this supposed to work out? Looking at the time she noticed they needed to go to work soon. "Well how do you plan on doing it?" Alice spoke up again. "Well we know that he gets off of work a half hour after us right? Well I took a peak at his file and he has a surgery at 5pm. Nothing major, but it is scheduled to be over at 7:30pm. So me and you will be waiting by his car. I don't want to hurt him badly, so I prepared some Chloroform to knock him out temporarily. Then we have to tie him up and place him in the truck of the car. The Chloroform won't last long so we have to be quick. Once we get to the apartment we will put him in your room and wait for him to wake up. Oh and we have to carry him up the stairs because the front of the building has two cameras." Karin smiled at her own plan.

Alice couldn't believe how much her friend planned out. But Karin got everything she wanted. "Okay but we have to go." Alice stated then rose to her feet. "Okay we can go now. I have all of the supplies in the car." Karin hid the map under the couch then skipped off to get the car keys. "Remember none of this happened." Karin's voice dropped as she looked at Alice. The two got into the car and headed to the hospital. Once they got there they both got ready for work in their dressing rooms then headed out to see what they needed to do.

Jacob woke up and turned off his alarm exactly five minutes before it went off. He looked at the clock: 5:55am. He rolled out of bed and too his feet as he walked to the bathroom. After doing his business, he looked into the mirror and took a deep breath. Today was his last day before he took his much deserved week vacation. He was planning on taking a trip down to the coast.

Jacob then got into the shower. Despite the fact that he was a rising star in the hospital and has recieved pay raises in the past year and a half, he was still unable to shake the habit of buying inexpensive items for his cleansing needs. He shook his head as he began to wet down his short hair and apply shampoo to it. He should be more grateful. Maybe he should self-indulge on this vacation.

Ten minutes later, Jacob was completely dressed and headed out to his truck.

It was a rather worn-down thing, but his father gave it to him when he officially became a doctor. It had quite a few miles on it, but it was more than enough to handle the trip to the hospital and back.

Upon arriving at Alexander's Hospital, named for the philanthropist Gerard Alexander, Jacob parked his truck in his parking space and walked inside.
"Hey, Doctor Acker, this is a new record. You're thirty minutes before your shift begins!"
Jacob turned as his Night Shift counterpart, Dr. Stevenson, walked by with a stack of scrubs.
"Good morning, Doctor. You know how I am. I cannot stand being late for work."
The two doctors parted ways and Jacob went to the changing room to change into his scrubs. There was not a lot of work to do besides the surgery schedueled for tonight.

Once 5pm rolled around, Jacob walked into the OR. The paitent today was not only donating a Kindey to help save a patient who was in dire need of one, but he was also having his Gallbladder removed. Jacob quickly looked over the man's charts and, finding no major medical problems, steralized his equipment and began the operation. He was teamed up with Dr. Kristine, a nurse who he had made his unofficial apprentice. He had high hopes for her.

By 7:30, Jacob had finished the operation and was just doing the final touches on the paperwork when he saw two nurses walk by his office. He waved at them as they walked by. Though he didn't really know Alice nor Kristin, he knew that they were among the best of the nurses who joined the hospital a couple of years ago.

A half hour later, Jacob was turning off his lights in his office and shutting down his computer. He signed out and walked outside the hospital after bidding goodbye to Dr. Stevenson as he walked by to replace him on his shift. Jacob inserted the key in the door of his truck, when he found that the lock was jammed for some reason........

Alice and Karin went through their work day without any problems. They were walking and going over their plan when they saw Dr.Jacob. They both waved before continuing to walk. "Now you know what to do right?" Karin asked. "Yes you only told me a million times." Alice joked only to get a glare in return. "Look Alice I'm very serious about this. I can't have you fucking up the plans because you weren't listening to me. Don't screw things up." Karin warned then walked ahead some. "Okay okay I won't. Now let's go and take care of some patients." Alice tried to lighten the mood and was successful at it.

When 5 came around Karin was practically jumping off of the walls in excitement. Alice more so nervous then anything. Who wouldn't be? They both continued to do their work until the clock struck 7:30. They both changed quickly and as soon as they made it out into their positions, the doctor came out to his car. Karin was hiding at the back of his car and Alice was behind the back of her car. Karin jammed the lock on his door and just as he was trying to open it, she came up behind him and placed the white cloth over his nose. When she saw his eyes were closing, Alice moved fast and tied his hands behind his back and tied his feet.

The two girls carried him to the back of their car and put him in there. The drive to their apartment wasn't too bad. Once they were there, like planned, they carried him up three flights of stairs taking short breaks every now and then. Finally they made it to the apartment and put Jacob on Alice's bed. Deep down Alice was feeling horrible. She had a crush on him since they started working together, but because of Karin, she never said anything nor would she ever now.

"You can leave. Once he wakes up I want him to see that I'm the only one here." Karin grinned and Alice felt sick looking at it. "O-okay." Was all the soft spoke girl said before leaving and closing the door behind her. Karin sat on the end of the bed waiting for the male to wake up and surprise him.

Jacob groaned a little as he slowly came to. His eyes felt like they weighed tons and his tongue felt swollen. The last thing he remembered was walking out of the hospital. Did he drink? He might have. Jacob guessed that he was on his bed, so, with his eyes still shut, he tried sitting up. He felt a sudden resistance as he couldn't move his arms and his eyes immedietly shot open.
This wasn't his bed....this wasn't his room. He tried moving his legs and felt that they were tied or something. It was at this moment that Jacob had a miniture panic attack. Where was he? What happened?
After a minute or two, Jacob calmed down and looked at the foot of the bed. There was a woman there. His eyes were still a little watery, so he couldn't make out her face. He blinked a few times and she came into focus.....it was Dr. Karin!!
"Karin! W...what's going on? Where am I? Why am I here?"
Jacob started to panic as he saw her smile grow much wider as she realized that he was awake completely....
