    Fantastic Force (Private RP)

As he put the finishing touches on the details onto the report, Reed Richards could hear the dull audible ticking the clock on the nearby wall. It was that moment where it felt like no matter what, you could swear it was getting louder and louder. Sighing, thanking the high heavens that he would be done in moments, and be able to go out on a movie date with Susan Storm. As he signed the paperwork Reed placed the clipboard and pen down on the table. Beginning to take off the lab coat he was assigned and using his name card to unlock the door of the lab as he started to leave.

Having a job which didn’t pay wasn’t something Reed was overly happy about, and something his dad hated quite vocally. However having this internship with Oscorp was a major deal for Reed personally. In exchange for a year of service, the company was giving him a full four year scholarship to Empire State University. His family didn’t have too much money to its name, so being able to take this burden off their shoulders would be great. As Reed got to the employee area where he put his lab coat away in the specific locker. There was the ding from the speakers followed with “Will Mr. Reed Richards please report to Osborn’s office, Reed Richards to Osborn’s office.” from that same dull female voice. However the message was something notable, very notable. Reed felt his stomach knot itself up as he closed his locker.

Norman Osborn was sitting at his desk, even at this late hour, seemingly going over paper work as Red came into the rather lavish office. Noting the large muscular man next to Norman’s desk who wasted no time eying Nathan as he came in. “Mr. Richards, welcome. I hope I didn’t catch you at an inconvenient moment.” Osborn stated before looking up, first to Reed and then to the large man. “Alekski...” Norman made a two finger gesture to the door. The large presumably Russian man nodded, before leaving. “I was just about to clock out for the night actually, but it’s no problem really.” Reed stated, deep down praying this won’t take long. Not just since he didn’t want to keep Susan waiting, but because genuinely Norman Osborn, even when he was being nice, is just a hard person to be around without being nervous. “Well I’ll keep this brief than Mr. Richards.” Norman began, gesturing to Reed to take a seat at one of the leather chairs facing his desk. Reed sat down, feeling the chair and how expensive it had to be. “Now as you know, your time with us is starting to come to an end. We of course will happily hold our end of the deal and ensure after high school you’ll get the full four years college. However what I wanted to bring up with you Mr. Richards was the possibility of after college perhaps... joining Oscorp on a more full-time basis.” Reed felt a lump gather in his throat. “We’ve been making strides in numerous fields over the years, as I’m sure your aware. But we need a man of your extraordinary intelligence to really be able to reach the next level of studies. If you join us I can promise nothing but the highest level of pay someone in your field could earn, the best benefits. You would be treated like a rock star here.” Reed glanced away, awkwardly fiddling with his glasses. “Well I appreciate the offer, really I do.” Reed coughed. “However I really can’t give you an answer just yet, I would like to explore my options post-college on my own if that’s fine.” Norman’s smile in a slow, smooth movement began to curl downwards. “While I do have to respect your feelings on the subject.” He began, tone changed. “I would like to remind you of the college payments we will be making for you. I would hate to think this is how you treat those who feed you.” The tone, the voice that Norman used, still professional, had that seething venom behind it. Reed, feeling very uncomfortable, began to stand up from the chair. “Well I’ll think about it... with you uh... putting it that way.” Reed felt uncomfortable, very uncomfortable. He needed to get away from the room immediately. “Look we should talk about it another time, right now though I really need to head out, I have a date.” Norman eyed him, narrowing at Reed before he made a simple wave of his hand. Watching Reed leave almost stumbling at the door.

Peter Benjamin Parker sighed aloud as he pushed the front door of the Daily Bugle open, pizza box in hand. The first day of his internship at the popular New York Newspaper wasn't exactly going well. It had always been the lad's dream to become a professional photoographer, but his first job in the business wasn't exactly what he expected it to be. First it was coffee runs, then it was stopping by the subway to get everyone lunch, and now he was fetching dinner for his boss, one John Jonah Jameson. As Pete made his way towards the stairwell to Jamison's office, one of the various workers clocking out walked towards him with feinted enthusiasm and kindness. "Hey, Petey! You got Pizza for everyone? Thanks man. Y'know, I think y'll make a great int- yet." The last few words were said through a mouth of pepperoni and dough. Parker could do nothing but stumble over his words while the slice was taken. 'He's going to kill me for that...' Peter hastily leapt two or three steps at a time before finding himself just outside the big man's office. "PETER PARKER! WHERE THE HELL IS THAT LITTLE..." The loud banging of a door being thrown open and that unmistakable swearing could only mean one man. The head of the Daily Bugle. Mr. John Jonah Jameson. As he came up to Peter and snatched out the pizza box from the young man's hands. "YOU ARE LATE PETER WHAT DO I PAY YOU FOR?!"

The young man rose his hands to his neck instinctively and once again stumbled over his next few words, coming out as nothing more than nervous breaths. Pete gulped before straightening up his posture, attempting to look professional. "I'm sorry, Mr. Jameson." the teen attempted to keep his mouth from furrowing. J. Jonah had sent him to a pizza place some twenty blocks away, walking. Naively, Parker reached for the now open box right when his boss turned his back, taking a much needed bite into the fruit of his unneeded labor. "Though I have to admit. This pizza was worth it." It didn't take long for J.J.J. to not only hear Peter but turn to find out that Peter had one of the pizza slices in his mouth and another was already gone. "HEY YOU LITTLE TWERP I DIDN'T BUY THIS FOR YOU!" With an almost ninja like reflex he snatched the pizza out of Peter's mouth. "DAMMIT THAT'S COMING OUT OF YOUR PAYCHECK!"

Pete gasped as the slice was snatched out of his mouth, and almost choked on the bit that was left. He motioned his hand at the box, attempting to explain. "Garry was the one who took the..." JJJ's yelling was no doubt muffling anything Peter tried to say. Once his rage had somewhat subsided, Peter looked to the ground out of fear. "Uh...sir.." Pete turned to look out one of the windows for a brief second. "You don't...pay me." "I DON'T!? WELL THAN I GUESS IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY BECAUSE YOU'RE GETTING A PAYCHECK!" Peter actually smiled for a brief second. "BUT I'M TAKING IT AS COMPENSATION FOR EATING MY PIZZA! NOW SCAT! GO! LEAVE! GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" With that J.J.J. slammed the door back into his office.

"We're talking about two pieces of pizza here, one of which I didn't eve-" Peter sighed as the door was slammed in his face. Making his way back down the stairs, the high school student grabbed his backpack and skateboard near the doorway. Now all he had to do was make his way down another fourteen blocks back to his house.

As he got out of the Oscorp building and made his way to the movie theater he agreed to meet Susan Storm at.* He sighed to himself, checking the time and seeing that he was a little early.* He honestly just wanted out of that building, and as far away from Norman Osborn as humanly possible.* He was eternally grateful he only had another month to go before he never had to step foot there again.* When he got to the theater he glanced around, no Sue yet.* Stuffing his hands into his jacket he just waited around for her to show.

Susan looked to her modeling trainer, her feet hurting from going back and forth. "Oh my... GOD!" she looked around, noticing the time. Yep, she was late for the date, awesome. “I’m sorry.. but I have to go." Sue turned around grabbing her stuff, good thing she was near the movie theater. As she got out, she ran towards the theater with her heels on. She was wearing a short black dress and her jean jacket. Looking at her phone and then looking at the entrance of the movies, she saw Nathan. "Nathan! I am so, so sorry.. please forgive me. I got caught up with my modeling coach. You know, walking the catwalk and all? My feet hurt like Hell.. but let’s go." she smiled at him, not even wanting to mess up in the date. Usually the guy was late in these scenarios, but Sue had to be the one being late this time. Nathan himself was beginning to worry about what was keeping Susan until he saw her running up. *Dressed beautifully as he wrapped an arm around her and gave her a peck on the cheek. *"It's okay, I had to slip out of work a little early anyways myself." *Nathan admitted as he took Susan up to the ticket booth, ordering two tickets for her and himself.

As they walked into the movies, Nathan had the tickets in hand. They were going to see a drama romantic movie. Susan smiled at him as she grabbed his hand tightly and looked at the booth with the snacks. "I want popcorn. I haven't ate nothing today.. you know whats nuts? She doesn’t want me to eat... she wants me to get on this insane diet... like... really?" She rolled her eyes walking towards the food booth. "Hello, a large popcorn, a large soda... Mm.. Nachos with a lot of cheese, let me get a chocolate snack bar.. and one sour candy patch." nodding as she heard her stomach grumble. Nathan laughed, the one thing that amazed him about Susan, was the fact he's seen her eat plenty, and never gain a pound. *High metabolism has never been so powerful. *"Yeah just a medium popcorn and soda for me." *Nathan paid for everything, helping to carry some of it but not really even attempting to carry all of it. *As they got into the movie theater Nathan and Susan took their seats at about the middle. *

The theater wasn't quite that full. *As he got snuggled in Nathan sighed a bit to himself. Susan looked around the movie, almost no one was there today. She grabbed her nachos eating some. "Youuuu, want some?" she smiled at Nathan. As she kept eating her nachos *"How was your day by the way? Any thing sciency? Haha." Susan looked at the screen as they were giving the trailers of the upcoming movies. "Ooh I wanna see that!” Nathan tried a smile, grabbing a particularly drippy cheese covered chip to munch on before looking back at the movie. *"Well a bit its… I'm really glad I don't have to work there anymore at the end of the month." *Nathan told her honestly. *"There is just something so… unsavory about being there." *Taking a sip of soda Nathan started to feel a foot kicking against his seat. *He let it go until finally he sighed, turning to see who was doing it. *"Excuse me, not to be rude but… oh God dammit."

"Hey nerd I was what now?" *There sat Johnny Storm, Susan's sister. *"So what are we watching you two love birds?" *Johnny asked before flicking a kernel of popcorn up and catching it in his mouth.

Susan looked at Nathan smiling. "I know, I’m so happy! We can spend more time together!" she looked to the back noticing Johnny. Great. Just Great. "Johnny.. what the hell are you doing here? At least go sit all the way in the back or something. Just don’t come here and bother Nathan. Alright?" she said giving him the mean ol’ big sister look. She was serious, she wanted a romantic night with Nathan and this was the time. Susan didn't want Johnny to ruin it. Not today at least.

It was around 8:20 at night by the time Peter finally kicked up his skateboard and skipped up the small three stair rise to the porch of his home. Creaky floorboards, leaking roof, and the best aunt and uncle a man could ask for. Was this not the American dream? Peter closed the screen door behind him as he racked his knuckles across the wall to see if anyone was home. He whistled a silent tune to himself as he made his way to refridgerator, knowing Aunt May, she no doubt left him a plate. As Peter pulled out the small plate of meatloaf and mashed potatoes his aunt May had made eariler, His Uncle Ben came in, smiling and coming up behind Peter and patting him on the back. "Well if it isn't our little investigative reporter Peter Parker." The voice was graveled but warm, inviting, the kind of thing you'd hear in a commercial for Quaker Oats or something else to feel old timey. "So how was the first day of interning."

One of the rarer occasions was Peter actually not flinching at someone's touch. Truly, this small two story town house was probably the only place the young man truly felt safe. Tossing the plate into the microwave and hitting one of the pre-set buttons, he leaned back against the kitchen counter and gave a relieved sigh. "It's not exactly what I was looking forward to." the teen smiled warmly. "I'm guessing it's just the higher ups hazing me." Peter nodded his head to his uncle for a split second. "What's up? Aunt May already in bed?"

"Yeah, she had a long day herself." Glancing back to about where their bedroom was before going back to Peter. "Well don't worry about it, its like my father always said. Cream always raises to the top, and crap always sinks to the bottom." Sure not the most classy of lines but Uncle Ben did always like that one, it was that and one other one he always recited. "Not going to lie I'm a bit tired myself. Did some work organizing the attic." the statement was met with a playful sigh "And you didn't invite me?" "Well you had the intern stuff, I didn't want to overburden you. Speaking of, why don't you just go to Oscorp like your cousin Nathan is? Things seem to be working out for him well enough." Pete didn't have time to reply before the small DING! of the microwave went off. Grabbing his plate and a spare fork, he rose it to his face before taking a small bite of mashed potatoes, much like Uncle Ben, he avoided the meatloaf even when Aunt May wasn't around. "I dunno...Nate's been saying that he doesn't really like his boss, figured it was just another hazing thing." Pete swallowed down the lump of homemade goodness. "Not to mention, I keep having this nagging feeling that I only got the letter because of my mom and dad." Pete's eyes stuck to the plate as he fidgeted with his fork. "I just...I just don't want to think I'm getting a hand-out." His uncle grimaced a bit, the subject of Peter's parents had always been a touchy subject. "Well I'm sure things will work out with the Bugle." Taking a seat across from Peter, the slow move down onto the padding a clear sign of age. "Speaking of how is Nathan anyways? Still going out with that pretty girl?"

"Susan? Oh, yeah." Peter finished the last bite of his mashed potatoes and took a seat next to his uncle. "They're supposed to go out tonight actually." Peter slid his plate to the side and leaned forward a bit. "You look tired. You should probably go get some rest, and don't do anything strenuous when I'm not here, Aunt May would kill me if you came up with cramps." Uncle Ben chuckled, "Hey I think she knows the score by now, you shouldn't worry about me." As Peter started to stand up Ben glanced down at the plate. "Hm... can't help but notice the meatloaf is untouched." Pete's cheeks reddened as he quickly moved the plate back into the refridgerator. "Well...to be fair...does anyone like her meatloaf?" "The neighborhood dogs do, at least." the duo shared a laugh. Peter turned around and began walking towards the stairway, as he made hsi way through the living room, he noticed a small laptop on the table. "Huh, didn't notice that when I came in. Must've been too focused on food." he had a momentary flashback to his boss snatching a slice of pizza out of his mouth. "Who's laptop did you steal? Aristotle?" "Come on I may be old but even my standards are a bit better than this." Ben said glancing down at the laptop. "Honestly I have no idea who it belongs to. Found it up in the attic while cleaning it out. If you want to do your computer voodoo on it you're more than welcome." Peter rose an eyebrow. "Is that you basically saying I have no choice?" "Hey I don't like to be forceful, just very suggestive. Anyways good night Peter, don't be up too late." The later kneeled down and unplugged the laptop's charger. "Night Uncle Ben. Considering how fosilized this thing is, I can get it done when I get home from work tomorrow." Peter whistled a tune once more while he made his way up the stairs once more.

Click Click , her heels click clacking everytime she walks. Her white flowing left to right as she was already at the top of the roof. She looked down smiling at the humans as they just walked around smiling and stuff. "Hmph." she turned around walking away from the roof top as she walked towards the ground.

Blackcat smiled as she broke into a jewelry store, smashing all the windows and grabbing the big ass diamond that she always wanted. She made a hole on the mirror with her cat nails, smiling. Good thing she had those special kind of claws. She grabbed the diamond running away. She was so good at rubbing stuff, that she didnt even leave a trace.. but..the cameras were rolling. She started to think about peter, she liked him ALOT. Though he never liked her that way. Blackcat ran away to a dark alley hearing the police sirens.

She took off her Blackcat outfit and flipped her hair as her hair was revealed, and had blonde hair. That was the real girl, Felicia. Blackcat was just her costume. But she was so good that they never caught her, she needed to stop with all these stealing... it wasn't good but hell she loved the diamond. Felicia turned around walking away, she was wearing blue skinny jeans with a shirt that showed her stomach and boots as she walked like it was nothing, polices running around her, they didn't even know that it was her.

As the new day rose and all the students of Midtown High School all made their way into the school grounds. Talking about whatever was going on in their lives. Reed Richards meanwhile had the same noise ringing in his head from earlier that day. His father telling him repeatedly to “Go get a real job!” Even when Reed was reminding him that he has the internship at Oscorp. “That’s not work, that doesn’t even pay. You should be getting your sorry ass to work helping me over at the stadium. They need someone to take care of laundry and other stuff. It’s good work.” Yeah, thats what a kid with the aspirations and skills needed to cure diseases should... clean some asshole’s jock strap. Still at least he was at school, where outside of being around Susan he could find peace of mind. As he adjusted his glasses and glanced down at the slightly oversized Tron shirt and cargo pants with worn out sneakers he had on. No wonder his been a bully target for so long.

Going down the hall for advance calculus to start the day Reed glanced up, and immediately made a b-line for the nearby bathroom. There was Flash Thompson. The bane of Reed’s existence for as long as he could remember. Flash was the bully character through and through. Star football player, and while difficult on good days, when Flash was having a bad day? Downright cruel. Reed wished he could say something, do something to where he didn’t have to do this to himself every time he saw one person. One person who intellectually tie his own damn shoes compared to Reed. Sadly thats not how the world works, and it was just another part of life. As Reed sighed, and about to leave the bathroom. He heard a whistle coming out of one of the toilet stalls which opened to reveal Johnny Storm coming out.

The younger brother of Susan, Johnny has seemingly had a chip on his shoulder since day one. His father is the legendary NASCAR driver, Bobby “Quiet” Storm. Who after retiring married a fashion designer and moved to NYC to be around her more. Johnny came off like a moron usually... and while that is true mostly enough. It didn’t apply to his mechanical work. Even Reed has been amazed how gifted Johnny is with automotive tasks and assorted things like that. Still none of that mattered to Reed at the moment as he grabbed Johnny’s arm after the younger man was finished washing up. “Dude what you did last night on Susan and I’s date was seriously not cool.” Reed told him as Johnny first came out of the surprise of getting tugged on the arm to smirking at Reed. “Whatever man, I’m a grown ass man, you can’t tell me what to do.” Johnny told him with all the bravado that said he genuinely believed his own words. “Hell, I can just tell you I felt like going to that movie, not even expecting you two to show up.” Reed raised an eyebrow. “So your saying you just FELT like going to see Tears of the Rose. Wait til I tell your friends about this one.” “Wait what?!” Johnny snapped back. “NO NO NO NO, NO. I mean come on it was a joke man... no need to take it personal and use the information as a blackmail material... right?” Johnny clearly began sweating bullets as Reed smirked. “Right... look seriously. Leave us alone when we’re out and about okay? And maybe I won’t tell your friends about how you went to see a chick flick okay?” As Reed started to leave Johnny behind him shouted “YOU DID TOO!” “Yeah I was on a date, whats your excuse?” “I...DAMMIT.”

Reed could never figure out why Johnny had such a problem with him dating his older sister Susan. Even their parents adored Reed, telling Susan how perfect he is for her. Practically praying they tie the knot. Still through all that though, Johnny just seemingly can’t allow it. Still Reed had to just get over it, remind himself to leave notes at the lockers of Johnny’s friends about what he did last night, and focus on classes for the day.

    Parker Residence
    8:46 A.M.

"PETER! Get up! You're late for school!" the shrill yell of Aunt May rang into Peter's ears as his head shot up from his pillow. He looked at his rather cheap alarm clock for but a split second before nearly vaulting out of his bed. "I'm up, I'm up!" He threw on a pair of jeans and socks as the echo of his Aunt's footsteps down the stairs reached his room. "You'll have to get your own breakfast if you want it." Aunt May's way of saying she hadn't made anything that morning. Before long, Peter had washed his hair in the bathroom sink and put on a coat of deodorant before slipping into his cotton hoodie. Scurrying down the stairwell, Peter made his way into the kitchen and plucked an apple from the fruit basket on the table. Turning on his heels and retrieving his backpack from the waiting hands of his Aunt, he gave her a quick butterfly hug and, before he had taken more than two steps from the porch, her voice once again echoed in his ears. "Peter, wait. Your glasses." Turning 180 degrees, Peter stretched out and retrieved the headwear in question from his Aunt and waved one final time before beginning the long walk to Midtown High School.

    Midtown High School
    9:08 A.M.

The courtyard of the public school was nearly vacant save for a skeleton force of staff members emptying trash cans and things of that nature as Peter arrived on the grounds. Peter, being the green-thumbed individual he was, had kept the core of the apple he had taken and simply tossed it into the nearest trash bag that the staff was preparing, garnering a couple of dirty looks as he skipped up the stone stairs into the front entrance of the school. Seeing the duo of security guards and the all too familiar secretary Mrs. Green, Peter placed his backpack onto the small table in the center of the room along with his watch and iPhone. Taking the step through the metal-detector without a problem, the teen waited for the guard to rummage through his bag. Sliding his watch back onto his wrist, Peter raised an eyebrow when the guard pulled out the laptop that Uncle Ben had given to him to repair the night before. "That's where I put that?" He ignored the look of the guard as he zipped his backpack up once more. Slinging it around his shoulder and slipping his phone back into his pocket, Peter signed himself in on the small sheet of paper by the secretary.

Somewhat jogging down the hall to his advanced calculus class, Peter stopped in his tracks when he saw one ravishingly beautiful Gwen Stacy walking down the opposite hallway. She was holding a hall pass, no doubt returning to class. She had turned back for but a split second when she heard his footsteps coming. Their eyes never met, and Pete's mouth opened and closed a few times before he shook his head violently and turned back once more. Truly, ogling over the hot blonde on campus was something of a weak spot for Peter, as he always found himself entranced by her presence.

Arriving at the door to his classroom, Peter attempted to open it, immediately realizing it was locked. Knocking ever so slightly on the door, Peter's eyes met the teacher's as the elder of the two sighed and shook his head, motioning his arm down the hall. Giving a sigh, Peter oh so dramatically said "Really?", which was met with a firm nod from his teacher.

Peter kept his head down as he sluggishly made his way into the library of the building. Smiling slightly at the librarian (he was one of the regulars of the spot, and had built a polite friendship with her.) Peter took a seat at his favorite little spot near the back of the library, right next to the window. "Well....might as well work." Peter thought aloud as he unzipped his backpack and retrieved the laptop. Placing it on the desk and pulling the monitor up, Pete began the start-up process. Logging onto the "Administrator" profile, Peter sighed as he saw the battery symbol hovering at about 65%. "Well, let's see what secrets you hold."

    Twenty or so minutes later

A rather direct message popped up on Reed Richards' cell-phone. "Library. Now."
