[Fairy Tale Dreamer]

The first day of the new school year was starting and it is a day where everyone is excited. Boys hope to find cute hot girlfriends to do stuff with and not feel like a total loser. Girl try to look their cutest with their nicely done hair, make up, and trying to bend the rules with their clothes. The students also hope that they get to sit next to their friends or a popular kid or hope that they get the super cute teacher in their class. But for one student all she worries about is getting hit by her father.

Allison used to like a normal life where she was always happy but things changed when her dad lost his job do to an injury and they lived off his welfare checks and he started drinking big time. Allison's mom could not take it anymore and soon ran off with a younger richer man leaving her only daughter behind in the hands of her father. That is when life got hard and also when the beating started there was no moment for her that was safe she was always at risk of getting hurt some how. now she was in a new school because her father was at risk of being charged for child abuse by social workers so he forced Allison to move with him.

Now she was in the new house that father picked out and it already wrecked of the smell of beer and full of beer bottles and Allison was trying to make breakfast for her dad since it was her job now to feed him, and do whatever he says or else she was getting hurt. "ALLISON what is taking so long I am starving here?!" Her father yelled and Allison was working as fast as she could but with one wrist being bandaged tight and her arms barely moving it was hard to move. "It is almost done dad." She yelled back in a nice voice cus the last time she snapped she was in the ER with a broken leg. "And Allison don't forget my cold beer." He said as he watched Tv and Allison did as she was told by finishing breakfast and making sure to grab the coldest beer in the fridge and brought it to him. Once he got the food he scarfed it down like a wild animal which disgusted Allison and her father noticed her face and threw the plate at her. "Quit looking at me with those eyes I hate those eyes." He said made and slurring his words while Allison's head was bleeding. "Sorry father." was all Allison could say as she went to the bathroom and put a bandage on her head and grabbed her things. "I'm going to school dad." She said and all her dad did was grunt and she left not eating since most of the food went to her dad. After closing the door behind her she started to make her way down the street to her new school.

Once Allison made it to school and got her things put together, found her locker and was in her first class of the day but it didn't go well for all the students started calling her trash girl, dumpter girl, or dirty monkey. As soon as class was over Allison ran under the stair case area hidden in the shadows crying and her pants that was filled with holes showing off some of her bruises on her leg. She had no desire to go to her next class and decided to suffer her fathers beatings instead of face being called names and teased. "All I wnat is a friend but I am no even worthy for that." She siad as tears streamed down her cheek and curled up in a little ball.

Allister had been Checking his Stash points though out the day. New year, new students, old hiding places might not work anymore. At the rate he was going Allister was expecting to start up by the second week, and with a few more stashes than normal. Alister had one last stair case to check before he was done for the day. Facing a near by vending machine he droped a coin which rolled around under the stairs as an excuse to check it out. As he turned the corner and saw someone, a girl sitting there. 'No good.' he thought as he reached down to pick up the coin. He idly wondered what inane reason this girl was crying over.

Then he noticed the state of her clothes and then the bandaged arm and almost healed bruises. Allister began rearranging his schedule 'a month or more huh...' Ignoring the girl Allister picked up he coin and shoved it into the machine and kept putting coins in. Tapping a couple buttons he turned to the next machine and shoved in a couple dollars and taped a few more buttons. Allister took out two cans of sprite from one machine and a pair of chocolate bars from the other. Allister returned to the little alcove where the girl was sitting. he sat down and placed a chocolate bar and one of the cans in front of her and opened the others took a sip of soda and began eating the first bar of chocolate.

Allison jumped when she heard someone pushing buttons and looked up to see a boy there and was wondering why he was there for she had been sitting under the stairs for a few hours and no one has bothered to come to the area. When he did those things she hide her face in her knees and covered her head with her hands for she was frighten he was one of the bullies that was picking on her earlier. But soon Allison heard the sound of a can opening and she turned to see the boy sitting next to her drinking a soda and eating the candy bar. She also noticed ones near her but she assumed they were his and he just placed them down there for him to get to later.

Allister looked at the girl then said to her, "Eat the chocolate it's got thing chemical in it makes you feel better. Won't help in the long run but small mercies I guess." Having said this Allister leaned back against the wall looking across from himself. Looking at the wall closing his eyes he mimed as if to take a nap. Allister wondered, the girl looked to timid to have earned the bruises she wore and Her clothes were too worn down to really match anywhere in the school district. On top of What he saw... Allister wouldn't think about it. Allister had to be careful about drawing attention to himself. If he got to involved with he he would.. might do something rash.

Allison looked at the boy next to her confused at him and shook her head. "I...I don't like chocolate at least I think I don't." She said and stayed curled up wanting to look as small as possible and wished the school day was over. "Besides I don't really eat anyways so doesn't matter to me." She said staying as tight as she can in a ball and rubbed her arm for it was sore for she knew she had to get the stitches out today or else it was going to grow into her skin. "I am not worth having someone help me or do anything nice for me I already know I don't belong." Allison looked down and slapped her face wincing for she hit her bruise. "Why am I saying this it means nothing to you I bet so sorry for rambling for no good reason I'll shut up now." After she said that Allison kept her mouth shut.

Allister pulled out a phone and flipped though the contacts -Credit $250 pull a fire alarm in 2m- Typing this out he hit send and turned to the girl. "It's obvious enough you don't belong. Here you are hiding in a corner, scarred and scared, with torn up clothes trying to not be apart of things." .. "And judging by your bruises you might just have reason to be scared. I wouldn't be so willing to say you deserve no quarter, no mercy or even a passing thought." 'Calm. Focus.' Allister continued More quietly and in a gentler tone. "If you insist you don't deserve even a kind smile then tell me what evil you have committed to abandon your right to common courtesy?" Allister looked to his watch. -3- looked to the girl. -2- Smiled and held out his hand. -1- "Well?" -0- .... err, a moment passed then the School came alive as the fire alarm went off.

Allison dugged her nails into her causing it to bleed while crying. 'THE CRIME I COMMITTED WAS BEING BORN THAT IS WHAT FATHER SAID HE SAYS I AM A FAILURE AND HE IS RIGHT!' Allison yelled and blood ran down her arm after causing it herself. "I don't deserve it because all people see is a girl that looks like she belongs in the trash and don't know the pain I endure are home day in and day out I am not worth two seconds of anyones times unless it is hurtful words or worst beating form one person that is suppose to care about me." She said and heard the alarm go of all of a sudden and stood up fast. "I do not belong just like my father says I should not have been born but I doubt you care either." That was the last think Allison said as she ran out of the school and into the parking lot and down the street away from the school as the alarm went off while crying with anger and sadness.

Allister Took off after the Girl at a comfortable pace, rather than over take her he kept an easy distance between them as he followed her. He could see he doing one of two things crossing the street at the next light and hopping a bus, turning the same coner and trying to get on the sub way. She might also just run straight home but he couldn't really plan around that, not knowing her. Sacrificing a few feet of distance from her he scooped up a glass bottle lying on the side walk.

Allison ran down the street as fast as her legs could take her until she made it to a corner near her house and the hospital. But as she made it to the corner she stopped and leaned against the wall trying to catch her breath. "man I forgot that I can't run that fast its not good on my body." She said coughing a little and wished she had water at that moment. "Ok first stop by the hospital get my stitches out then store to get dads dinner and then home and hope he doesn't hit me." She said to herself as she stayed against the for a little while longer before finally catching her breath and turned left of the corner to the hospital to get things taken care of.

As the Girl stopped Allister took the bottle he had picked up as he left the school and lobbed it over her head, and across the street. He ran the rest of the distance to her as the bottle flew across the street and came to a stop behind her, took her wrist in hand and turned himself so that she was at his side with her back facing him. "Who said you could Run!" Allister was a little winded, the girl ran slow enough that to keep pace with her he had to keep an awkward pace as he ran after her. "You father.." Allister let out a deep breath. The took in a gulp of air. "..sah jerk" coughing her tried not to hurt her as he kept his grip firm.
