Name: Rane Melakhar
Gender: Male
Father's Name: Jomar Melakhar
Mother's Name: Haya Melakhar
Noble House: Melakhar
Financial Boon: 250 crowns
Social Boon: Average, almost good.
The Melakhars have always been a small, but wealthy noble house. Not very popular, in fact some nobles have never even heard of them. But they've always been there even in the oldest histories. They've never had much publicity, nor power. But the shining star of their household is non other than Rane who has gained popularity for his prodigious talent when it comes to the piano and his apparent intellect. Thus, while the Melakhars themselves are not very popular Rane's name is known and not just because of his parents nonstop chatter about him.
Physical Health: Healthy. (Not really sure what else to put here)
Mental Health: Healthy.
Appearance: Rane's shorter than most, he stands at about 5'9".(About 175 centimeters) His physique is relatively normal, some might consider him a bit on the skinny side. Rane has shaggy, normally unkempt, black hair that falls to his neck. He tries to comb it, but it somehow it always returns to its disheveled state. Rane has electric blue eyes, that have a strange way of reflecting light, makes them look rather shiny. He stays well-shaven keeping his face devoid of hair for the most part.
Personality: On the surface, Rane comes off to most as well-mannered, thoughtful, maybe even stubborn and of course, intelligent. But then, his own thought take a different route. He's a proud man and doesn't take easily to insults, he'll end up giving more than he gets. Arrogance defines his soul, even while having a conversation with someone he'll probably be belittling them in his head. He's a person for careful maneuvering and quick action. He doesn't like sitting idly by, he always has to be doing something. Ambition, not greed, like his mother, is what fills him. He wants power, he wants to be able to shape the course of a city or a nation while sitting in the comfort of his own home. He dreams of making the Melakhar household one of the most powerful noble families..and maybe even something more.
Biography: Rane had been thrust under his parents heel since the moment he was born, forced to do as they say and handcrafted by them to become a young, elegant gentleman. He did as he was told. What other choice did he have? Growing up, he was surrounded by the best tutors educating him in the ways of literature, the classics, math, science and money before he even truly comprehended it. He saw his parents rarely as they were always busy with something or another. He found he was good at the piano, though he could never say he really liked it.
When he turned 12, his parents started played a more direct role in his life. He saw them more often, learned about their business dealings and witnessed, from a front row seat as his father became the figurehead of the household, while his mother held all the power. Under her, the Melakhar household grew more wealthy and somewhat more notable in the complex hierarchies of the noble houses.
When he turned 15, he started accompanying his parents on business trips and was even given jurisdiction over a business dealing, a relatively small one. This interested him, and it was what he busied himself with in the day when he wasn't studying. Then at night he was whisked away to concerts. He watched as the masters hands flew over the keys. He wasn't particularly interested in watching others play, and when he asked his mother why he had to be here. She simply responded "To be seen."
Sometimes he would privately play for the masters and they would shower him with compliments. His mother, would later slip them a few coins, when she thought he wasn't watching and the next day word of his "excellent" playing would travel from musician to musician, playhouse to playhouse. Soon he became known as a "prodigy".
Possessions: Clothes, a family ring displaying their crest on it-a white lion. A silver analog watch, which has been in the family for generations. And of course, a large grand piano.
Good! Now to be a little more specific...
Tell us about your goals and dreams and your talent and flaws. Why do you think you should become of the Elite yourself?
Why me, eh?
Well I belong in the Elite, I know what power is and I know how to get it.
Goals? Dreams?
Picture this, will you. A bustling city overflowing with wealth and filled with smiling faces. Peace fills the street, no strife, no poverty. And at the center of this utopia is what? A mansion, a palace call it what you will. A court, and ruling over it is none other than me. Why? Because I know how to obtain this picturesque seen. I know how to gain wealth and power. Greedy? Ambitious? I am, what of it?
Talents?
Well, I'm not too shabby with the piano, rather good at it actually from what I've heard. I have somewhat of knack for business ventures, though I admit I've only been involved in a few of them. I make for a good friend and a bad enemy. But I suppose that's not a talent. I'm not too bad at dancing I suppose, I've only been forced to be drilled in it since I was five. Why, yes, that was sarcasm. Hmm, what else? What else? Oh yes, I can sit a horse like no other. Oh, and of course, how did I forget, I have a fantastic poker face.
Flaws?
Well, I won't claim I'm flawless. You already know that I want power and money. What else is there? Hmm, well I suppose I'm a tiny bit arrogant. Not much though. Proud? Well I suppose I can be that at times. I rather like the Melakhar insignia, a roaring white lion with our famous eyes of course, electric blue. I am impatient, alas, my mother says it will be my downfall. I can't stand waiting for something, when I want something I get it. And I get it yesterday.
