She stared at the girl who had cursed in shock. Covering her mouth, she let out a soft giggle at the fact that she had cursed and then suddenly felt guilty when she realized that her ankle was hurt.

    "Are you alright?"

Asynabelle wasn't in that much of a panic. In fact, she was surprised when the man next to him lunged for the Emergency button so soon. But, she was too shy to say anything-sometimes elevators stopped in the process of climbing their way up the building, this was normal.

She pulled her plain black sweatshirt down, fixing her hair into a loose ponytail, and stared at the other people in curiosity. From what she could see, there was the man who lunged towards the Emergency button-most likely worked at the mall. Then, there was a girl with headphones and a girl with a bizillion bags at her side, who had just hurt her ankle. Asynabelle took note that the girl had a noticeably perfect face, clear skin, and eyes that shined in the light.

Kat's headphones were jolted off her ears. She looked around to see if one of the people in the elevator did it as a prank. But she only saw a guys pounding the emergency button hard enough to break it, a girl holding twice her weight in bag, an equally observing girl trying to disappear, and a girl who took a sudden interest in introducing her butt to the dirty carpet of the elevator while she massaged her ankle. She closed her eyes tightly and reopened them, almost wishing she would wake up somewhere else. But she was still stuck in an elevator. (cute how i used the title huh? lol) She ran her fingers through her light brown hair and leaned against the railing. She looked over at the only guy in the elevator with a small ounce of hope. "Please tell me you can restart this thing." She said.

Asynabelle suddenly became tense, almost stressed. She could feel a sudden urge to run, pound on the elevator walls with all of her might and scream, "Help! Someone!" But, Asynabelle was too worried about what people thought of her to make a scene-it was exactly what her mother had taught her through the years. Asynabelle had tried not to be like that, but it was hard when that was only what she knew.

She sat on the ground and gently pushed Bellanna's hands off of her ankle, removing the high heel that lay on her foot. Asynabelle threw the high heel at Matt, who scowled, and checked to see if it was swollen.

Frankie shook as the elevator shook with her, coming to halt. Dropping her bags immediately she threw her hands against the pole attached the elevator walls and let out a slight 'eek'. She'd never been faced with anything like this, being stuck anywhere before or anything but now.. Now she has to get stuck? The elevator continued to swing so with this Frankie through herself onto the floor, still holding onto the pole on top of her head. Scanning the elevator she took a brief look at everyone, one looked like she hurt her ankle and another pushing the emergency button like some mad man. Closing her eyes she sat there and held onto the pole with a firm grip, she didn't want to admit to herself that she was stuck in an elevator but she knew it was true, she'd tried closing her eyes and waking up from her dream, pinching herself and slapping her head many times to snap out of what she had put herself into but it was true she was stuck in an elevator..

Within a few moments, Matt realized that all hope was lost. Feeling like he had just made a huge fool of himself, he calmly asked if everyone was okay, which he wasn't sure of as they clenched the railings and poles. He was still angry with the girl who had thrown a shoe at him-some crazy girl. Whoever she was, he didn't like her. She acted like she was superior to everyone else, which, quite frankly, she wasn't. The only one who seemed calm at the moment was Frankie.

Frankie faced with the fact that she was somewhat stuck inside the elevator rubbed her eyes. She didn't want to get up, she just wanted to cry at the fact that she'd be stuck in there with no hope in getting out. A thought popped into her head.. Her phone! Of course! She could call someone, ask for help! Frankie knew that she wasn't the smartest pee in the pot but she sure was good at thinking. Retrieving her phone from inside her long jacket pocket, she coughed into her fist before unlocking the iPhone she held in her shaking hands. Dialing her mothers number, she crossed her fingers mumbling 'Please pick up, please pick up, PLEASE pick up' under her breath. Letting out a sigh moments after, she just let her phone fall, it safely landing in her lap luckily. She pushed her knees up to her chest wrapping her arms around them and planting her head just between her knees. How could she be so stupid to think that there would be signal in a solid block of the elevator and in a mall that was useless at signal; the amount of times Frankie had been to the mall and not being able to tell anyone where she was when she was there or when she was on her way home. She didn't even want to move from the corner she had perched herself in.
