Alright. I've got the pencil now, let me chew on it a little.

I was thinking maybe a nice Boarding House for teenagers of the troubled kind. It kind of slapped me upside the head and I decided to look farther into it. I was thinking that it might just work, add a few twists and all and maybe I've got something. Like maybe it could have a bit of an immortal-human overplayed splash with a sprinkle of betrayal and all these other great elements I can work into it.
Like what if they were set in a time where everyone was aware of the immortals rather than it being some huge secret, that's why they go to the same schools and live in the same communities but of course, there's those darker figures who loom over. Slayers who find the idea of anything nonhuman to be wrong and the immortals who don't believe humans should be around and than, those who are stuck between with a respect for both.
And all these different groups are stuck in that one school, the troubled teenagers. Offspring of the different types of groups and even the staff has their sights set one way or the other.
What if after peace, reigns a sort of underground war, where the teachers of certain preferred groups began to start to train the students. And it all starts to wrap into betrayal and this huge gap in the school where only the "both sided" people can try to play nicies while all the teachers are sort of playing it off as if it isn't happening. And it comes down to stopping a war or having hundreds die.

Anybody like it at all? It was spur of the moment. My brain like decided "It's time to combust, prepare."
So. Yeah.
