Goblin Kings ideas...

So first off, I know there are a lot of reference to Goblin King so I apologize if you are disappointed by what I'm giving you :/ However, this RP was inspired by the SyFy show "Face Off". In the first episode of Season 4, the contestants must create a Goblin King with the physical appearance that represents the kingdom he reigns over, i.e. Arctic, Mountain, Forest...

I loved the idea, the actual designs, and some of the back story the contestants gave. So it inspired me to create this world that revolved around the seven kings.

Here are the solid details that I've established:

There are seven kings for each of the country's regions: Arctic, Desert, Forest, Jungle, Mountain, Swamp, and Volcano. Each king has a unique personality, lifestyle and history that I'll go into more in an OOC.

We will not be playing the kings. Short of a nation RP, which I'm not really into, I'm not liking anyway that we could pull off playing as them. The country is inhabited by Goblins and Men and we can play as either race. Each will have their own sets of advantages and disadvantages.

A dark magic is brewing in Forest and Jungle regions and threatens to overwhelm them and the entire country. However, the kings have never really worked together before and most are often at ends with at least one other king so our group must set out to attempt to unite the kingdoms against the coming danger.


Here are some alternatives that I popped around in my head in case you like these. I'm looking for input from those interested in joining.

The kings could be more like elementals than goblins so it could justify other races being brought into this world and living under the rule of the elementals.

I'm thinking we'd serve under one king, likely Forest, who realizes the threat. But, he's an interesting character that I'd like to have interaction with so maybe we could be like a guild that realizes the danger and knows the kings have to unite.



So this is my idea. Looking for interested players and thought about the details. Is the solid okay, or do you think one of the alternatives would be better? Hope to see some interest in this

Edit: I'm also aiming for this to be more High-Casual. At least a solid single paragraph, but the more the better, and good grammar/spelling. We have to be able to read and understand your posts. I'm not expecting Advanced level lengthy posts with details about a random flower that your character happened to notice. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I laughed at that statement.
Love the show, didn't see this particular episode, I'll have to look it up. Also love the original idea, and the others you mentioned. I would be up to play any depending on what other interested parties like.

Interested. I think the 'guild' Idea would make sense as well. Allowing for players to have characters all around the world, with abilities based on where they're from.
