A wake up to the sound of wild Pidgey's outside my window. "Dumb birds". I looked up into my empty room. There was nothing to do. My parents were away on one of there many explorations of the different regions. My family had a lot of money so they were always gone exploring the world. "I need a friend..." I looked out the window. After watching the Pidgey's for a moment, I threw my legs onto the floor. "That's it! Today I'm going to catch my first Pokemon! But first I need to get dressed!"

Vivian was cooped up high in a tree, sitting back on a branch comfortably with a pair of binoculars. Her town was always boring in her opinion. That's why she waits and searches for something entertaining to happen. Unfortunately, Vivi's usually disappointed at the end of the day. She set the binoculars down for a moment and pulled out a sandwich.

As Matt awoke he noticed that his shinx was missing so he yelled. "Hey shinx were leaveing." Hopeing he would hear me. I heard a rustle from bushes beghind me and thats when he poked his face out of the bushes "come on were leaveing." I said picking him up I decided to go to violet city to stop by the poke-center and fight the gym.

I quickly dressed myself in my usual apparel. As I started down the stairs, I couldn't help but look out the window to see the pidgeys still scattered everywhere. A big smile went across my face as I couldn't hold it back. I ran into the kitchen and quickly made myself some cereal. After I scarfed down my food, I threw my bowl in the sink and ran back up stairs to my room to grab some things. I grabbed my headphones and my Ipod and put on some tunes. I also grabbed my wallet and put 200 dollars into it. I didn't know the first thing about being a pokemon trainer so I was off to the poke-mart to buy supplies. I ran back down the stairs and opened the door to start my journey.

As I made my way into Violet city I noticed I was running low on potions so I decided to stop at the poke mart. As I walked in I noticed a ultra ball I had to make the difficult decision whether to get it or the ten potions rather safe then sorry I said to my self. The man at the counter was rather nice I asked for ten potions as I reach into my wallet and pulled out 75 dollars I realized I had to save 50 of it for the room I would have to work soon if I wanted to continue sleeping inside. after I got my potions I decided to leave I wandered the streets look for a nice hotel to rent a room in. Me and shinx will need all are strength for tomorrows battle with the gym leader Falkner.

I quickly got to Violet city and ran to the poke-mart and threw my money on the table. "give me everything that I need to be the best" The clerk looked at me and snickered. He went into the back and came back with a small gift wrapped box with a little bow on top. He put the box on the counter and slid it over to me. "Here's 10 poke-balls and 2 potions" He reached under the counter and grabbed a small pouch. "here's some berries for the road" he took 20 dollars from my pile of money, then sent me on my way. I left the poke-mart and I was determined to get my first pokemon.

As I got into the hotel room I kicked off my shoes and flung my self onto the bed I was exhausted. Before I Fell asleep I remember I needed to feed Shinx I reached into my back pack as I rummaged through it trying to find Shinx's bowl he jumped on the bed and started to streach out as I poured him some food and water I noticed he was on the bed he'll be okay for now I thought to my self as I jumped on the bed and fell into a deep sleep.

Alexander walked, humming to himself as he wore his Pikachu Jacket. His hands were inside it's pocket as he looked around the outskirts of Violet city. He stared at the tree's, smiling to himself as his shaggy black hair covered some of his face. He had Pokeballs already on his belt, though not all of his pokemon were strong except for one...

I ran back to were I saw all those Pidgey. They were still there. I got down like someone in the army and started to crawl towards the Pidgey. I could feel the grass brush against my face. As soon as I got close enough to them I quickly stood up "You're mine Pidgey!" I shouted, I threw a poke-ball at one of them. I hit one in the head and it went inside the ball. All the other Pidgeys scattered, but it didn't matter. the ball rocked to the right, then to the left. It paused... I waited... The suspense was killing me. The poke-ball broke and The Pidgey escaped. It flew away with no hesitation. It was completely disappointing... So I fell to the ground and just sat there.

"Damn it" I said under my breath. I started to run faster. "Why do I always seem to loose track of time?"

Today was the day I got my first Pokemon. My uncle had been keeping this Pokemon handy for me when he felt I was responsible enough to start my journey as a Pokemon trainer and being late wasn't showing him my true positional.



I got to my uncles house, hopefully not too late. I barged in through the door with out knocking. "Uncle? You here?"

He walked down the stairs, wiping something with a rag. "So you decided to come after all?"
He said in disapproval.

"Im sorry uncle" I said with my head down. "My alarm didn't go off and I couldn't find my left shoe and-" He cut me off before I could finish

"Excuses aren't going to get you anywhere Jessica." He lifted my head with his hand "You need to start taking more responsibility for your faults."

I smiled, "Uncle, I told you call me Jess" I tried getting off the topic of "responsibly".
I looked to see what was in the rag. I saw a glimpse of a purple colored poke ball.
"Oh my! Is that a master ball uncle?"

My uncle chuckled "Ahaha, well it looks like you've been doing your research Jessica"

My eyes widened with glee. "Uncle, is-is my first Pokemon in that mater ball?"

"Well, yes actually" He tossed the ball at me and I caught it with such honor.

I smiled without saying a word. My uncle smirked. "Here take these with you as well"

He handed me a few berries and nothing more. "Now go on" He said.

I stepped outside "Thank-thank you Uncle."

He smiled and closed the door.


"Yes!" I screamed.
I ran, where to? Who knows but I ran.
I ran until I came upon a boy who was sitting on the ground. I smirked "Hehe, My first battle with my brand new Pokemon. This is going to be easy" I said to myself. I ran to him and towered over him "Hey you!"
