"So I hot wire the truck and open the windows, you drive the truck through, and worse case scenario we have cover if we get shot at. We need the extra space for supplies. I truck full will get us a hell of a lot farther than a cart full will." Zane pleaded to the man. They needed those suplies far to badly to squander an oppertunity like this. If they waited any longer, there would be no supplies to come back to.
    I come.

    I fuck shit up.

    I leave.

"Alright, that works," Skip replied, turning down the parking lot, heading toward the truck. "Let's just try to keep this as low-key as possible, you know?"

Skip pulled up in front of the truck, bringing the jeep to a stop. He observed out the window around the parking lot - nothing that he could see. It was, for the most part, dead silent; the roaring of the engine as it came to a halt was the only source of sound in the proximity. He turned his head to Haru and Sophia, who were sitting behind him.

"Alright, you two go ahead and stick with me."

He turned his head back to Zane. "You sure you've got this, Zane?"

Alex sighed as he looked around the desolate room. He was on his own. Sophia had gone off with Skip, which, although he was slightly resentful, he was mildly glad for. She would be safer. Still, he wasn’t looking forward to the thought of being on his own. Even for a short time.

He ran a mental checklist through his head. First thing he should find was a weapon. He wasn’t one for fighting, or general use of using something to hurt another. Still, he would be foolish not to be holding onto a weapon during this… apocalypse. He sighed as he thought the word. It seemed… wrong. But that’s what it was, wasn’t it. He couldn’t be sure yet. But until there was evidence disproving it, he had to believe it. So it was the apocalypse. The Zed apocalypse. He couldn’t take calling them “zombies” seriously. And the sign had said- no, he couldn’t think about that.

What was he supposed to do? He wasn’t going home. He knew that. But what did he need. A weapon. Yes, he knew that already. Food, water, that sort of stuff. He could handle that. There were a few super markets close by, he could swing through those, though he didn’t have money. Not that that mattered anymore, he thought with a smirk. He’d get some food and some bottled water. And a ride. He should probably get that figured out as well. Thinking all of this, he walked out of the bookstore, and began to jog towards the nearest grocery store.
    Halp.

Sophia looked at Skip for a moment and nodded at him as she climbed out of his jeep and started walking over towards the front entrance to the store, the front doors easily opened inside the store the lights were all off and some blood was on the ground. She started to think about Alex back at the bookstore. "I'll go ahead and look for supplies that we can use." She told Skip and Haru as she started to walk down the aisles looking for anything that they could use, and grabbed a few first aid kits and some other camping supplies.

Zane stepped out from the car and closed the door, looking back at Skip. "COLOR="#008000"]Relax, Ive been stealing cars since I was 15, this truck aint shit.[/COLOR] Izzy took a step closer to the truck, nothing about it made it seem like it had an alarm at first glance. And since they where short on time, he made a guess and smashed the window of the Ford F-150.

His instincts where correct, no alarm whent off and called the hoard. It was a damned good thing too, they had no way to defend themselves. The truck was pretty old school. He picked it because it was big enough to get a lot of supplies, and small enough to fit through the door. And if he wanted to, he could rip it through the woords with its ass load of horse power. He used the bowie knife he got off the dead guy he and skip had taken care of to pop off the dash around the steering wheel. With a few connected whires and a screw driver he found laying around, he managed to get the thing rolling. He moved it through the door and parked it in the middle of the store. He was sure to leave enough room for skip to get in.

"Grab anything that might be useful, Load these bad boys up. Nothing that isnt important. We need these supplies to last a very, Very long time!" He stepped out of the truck and grabbed the first thing he thought of. Airsoft guns. The heavy ones that where Co2 charged. They could use the target practice and the fun. And there where enough spare cartradges to last a long time. And they probably wouldnt be to hard to find later on. And, with a little spray paint, they could be a damned good intimidation meothod. Plus, a few traders may not get all they bargained for. He also grabbed propain tanks, and Camper ovens. Pots and pans, Towels, a cross bow, Lots of arrows, and a lot of dog food. If worse comes to worse, it was chalk full of nutrients.

He grabbed as much ammo as was left, the other survivors must have gotten most of the boxes. But he got a lot of .357s, the 9mm where down to a few boxes, but he took them, He also grabed shotgun shells and rifle ammo. Along with various other random grades and such. He grabbed canned food, or what was left. Maybe a week or twos worth. only an hour ago he had no clue that the apocalypse had even started. And this place is already picked clean. He grabbed a lot of spare clothing. Including hiking boots and a hiking back pack, a few first aid kits, some flint, tarps, tents, sleeping bags, and a sharpening stone
    I come.

    I leave.

Haru got out of the car, looking around just in case any walkers decide to pass by. She carefully made her way inside the store, making note of any broken glass and empty shelves. She grabbed what she could, mostly light weight things due to the fact that she's quite physically weak but she did grab a lot of medical supplies seeing as those are the only thing she knew how to use. She took a pair of boots, a jacket and backpack just in case. As for weapons she only took what she could carry and went back and forth from the store and the car.

Skip grabbed only what he could from the jeep. He walked around, moving to the trunk. Popping it open, he grabbed the bare necessities - a canteen, two cartons of cigarettes, and a bottle 3/4 full of Jim Bean. This was a stressful time - while the others were walking into the store, he removed the cap and knocked back a large amount of liquor from the bottle into his mouth. Shaking his head for a few moments, he headed over to the truck.

He swung open the trunk of the car, dumping the cigarettes and alcohol into the back. He slid open one of the cartoons and removed a pack for himself. Shutting the trunk, he placed a cigarette in his mouth and lit it while turning around on his feet.

Once he looked up from the lighter, he was met face-to-face with a scraggly looking walker, one with an overweight build, wearing a construction worker's outfit. It snarled in Skip's direction, and Skip automatically backed up, the cigarette dropping from his mouth.

    "SHIT!"

Skip backed up quickly as the walker sauntered forward, its weight shifting with its every step. Skip backed up back against his jeep, finding himself in a very similar position to his last walker encounter - he jammed his hand through the open backseat window and grabbed the furniture leg he acquired at the coffee shop.

Skip waited until the walker's arms were swung behind it and lunged forward, swinging the chair leg into the walker's forehead. The monster stumbled back from the hit and Skip stepped out of its reach quickly, before approaching it again quickly and swinging the chair leg into the side of the walker's skull. The walker tumbled backward and Skip quickly stomped his foot down on its head, cracking its skull open. He delivered another final stomp into the walker's head, rendering it dead, or at least incapacitated.

Skip stared in horror and quickly turned behind him, toward the store. He sprinted toward the rest of the group. "We need to go! One of them just tried to attack me, there's got to be more!"
