    The Saiyan Academy

"Braces?!" Vegeta snarled, pulling at the sealed braces around his wrists. "This is ridiculous! I'm the prince, I need no restrictions!" he growled, then attempted to slice into the brace with no avail. Angered, but defeated, Vegeta threw his hands into the air and let out a yell of frustration.

"You're all so lucky that I'm not at my full power!" he snapped, then crossed his arms and scowled before looking up at the sky, warming his face as they waited outside for the instructor to arrive. They would be sparring to determine their future partners for missions. It would be based on a skill and technique basis. To the Saiyan Prince, all these others were simply there to learn by his example, and he needed no comrades or partners. He had his own lackey, and the entire planet under his control.

All these fools were just lucky to be in his presence.
Mazuri looked over to the prince, who was being quite a child. She furrowed her brow at him and wiped a bit of dirt from her shoulder.

"Oh, I'm sorry your royal highness. You're obviously the master at every single thing there is to know about everything... and that's why the prince is a virgin, because he knows his hand does a fine job already," she sneered, her words simply dripping with sarcasm and venom. She then let a frustrated huff of air from her lungs and began to stretch.

She prayed that whoever she got paired with, it wouldn't be that sexist, egocentric beast of a prince. She would end up killing both herself and the prince in an attempt to free herself from the overwhelming stupidity of his pompous nature.

"He has a dream of a world where everyone is always laughin'... So maybe I'm crazy, but aren't we all a little crazy...in love?"

Braces... Seemed rather redundant for a warrior race, but they knew best, apparently. Yawning lightly, he took a look at who he was with. Some girl, some guys-Oh shit, it was the Prince. He almost opened his mouth, almost, but quickly looked ahead. Had to put on a good show, maybe a bit of showing off...

Hah, just kidding. He didn't really care. He wasn't that great in person, and from the act he was putting on, Chila could already tell there was going to be some fun involved. The woman, however, might have been slapped for being insubordinate to the prince- Who knows. Chila sure as hell didn't. He just kept quiet and tried to look good as he waited for Mr. Instructinator to arrive.. The sooner they could get onto sparring, the better. Show off a bit of his skill, perhaps? Who knows, who knows. For now, he snapped his fingers calmly at his side, humming a small tune while he waited for the oncoming instructions.

Ishikaru watched the two bicker amused, almost like a married couple. When Mazuri insulted Vegeta however he felt equally insulted by it. Sure, the Prince was a bit self righteous, but he was royalty, and the strongest of all of the students, who expected him not to be. "Relax guys, let's save pounding eachother's faces in for the sparring huh?" he asked teasingly, unable to help but smirk at the pairs dispute. There wasn't a doubt in his mind Vegeta would easily topple Mazuri in a fight, no question. He attributed her hostility to jealous of the Prince, though he wouldn't say it outright. Hoping to difuse the situation though, he glanced at the lone female Saiyan with a reassuring smile. "He has gotten a lot more formal training than we have, so he kind of is a master compared to us." Then to Vegeta, a more modest smile this time. "And hey, look at it this way Vegeta, you're the leader when we start our missions, everyone'll know who's boss by then."

Jumping off of the wall, he walked over to his two fellow students, folding his hands behind his head casually as he looked at the two of them thoughtfully. He was always an oddity, never really looking for a verbal fight or butting heads with his peers like most of his people seemed to. It wasn't that he disliked fighting, he lived for that. He simply found than infighting was pointless, and they were strongest as a cohesive group. Of course, he wasn't exactly favorable despite that fact. Truth was he near idolized the Prince, finding his natural prowess and leadership to be awe inspiring. While they weren't quite that far apart in terms of power, he never would dream of undermining Vegeta's authority. Some people had even accused him of loving the Saiyan, but that was far from the truth. He simply respected the guy immensely, and was proud to be able to train with him.

Hayte didn't really care about the braces they had put on him, he actually liked them, as it put him and everyone else on a level playing field. Making no one better than the other it was a nice touch he thought but although they were on the same level in power their experiences and training was vastly different. Since Vegeta is here it makes everything a bit more complicated as he has probably trained with some of the best fighters that this planet has to offer. He ponders to himself as he looks at all the others here, noticing there isn't many, 'i wonder how much training all of them have done..besides the prince of course'. He looks them all over 'they seem to be quite strong..but that doesn't matter too much'. Hayte listens in on what they are talking about and apparently Vegeta is complaining which doesn't really surprise him as he is with what they would call lower class, even though they may be near the same level. Then some other kid seems to be taking sides with Vegeta trying to defend him he guesses. Hayte just tries to block them out as it doesn't really matter as long as he can get stronger from this little Academy he doesn't care who he has to put up with.

As Hayte is waiting he can't help but wonder what they will be doing. From what the others were saying before he blocked them out, seems as if they will be sparring as soon as their instructor gets here. Hayte liked that idea but he can't help to wonder how much they will have to hold back when the instructor is here. Will he stop the fight if it gets out of control? He hopes not, Hayte wanted to see everyone here near their breaking point but that might have to wait for another time. He shakes his head wondering if all of them are going to bicker this whole time. Hayte ends up taking a seat on the ground not far from the others but just far enough away so that they might leave him alone.

Ryu was observing the interactions from his new 'classmates' while leaning against a wall, he was slightly amused by prince Vegeta's behaviour, to think that the future king would act in such a way when in the presence of the future finest warriors of the Saiyan race. The braces made sense after all, what would be the point in assembling these fighters only to have them kill one another the moment they're in the same room...Of course it did come to a battle royale then Ryu would be the last one standing, he could kill everyone of them in five minutes if pushed himself pretty far.

What amused Ryu more than the prince's attitude were the other student's reactions, while one appeared indifferent and one seemed to be a member of the prince's fan club, the other students seemed to see the prince in a similar way that Ryu did. "Your majesty, if I may be so bold as to address you directly, would you mind keeping the complaining to a minimum? The last thing I want, is to hear your moaning whenever something happens that you don't like, ok?"

"Oh shut the hell up, all of you," Vegeta scowled, not making eye contact with any of his classmates. "If you shut up, I'll go easy on you," he chuckled, then smirked slightly. He then brushed one of his bangs out of his eyes, and cracked his knuckles, making hollow popping sounds that were unpleasant to hear.

Although the woman had openly insulted him, but she was a woman! What did she know? That fellow who seemed to look up at Vegeta like a hero made the woman seem unimportant. He smirked a bit then pulled his scouter off his face, his ear sweating a bit, and set it on the ground. The braces would have to wait, as the instructor stepped forward.

He was a tall, although not terribly thick man, with short chopped hair that was pushed forward to a reverse of the hair that the royals all sported. He was heavily armored, and his scouter stretched like glasses across his face. His voice wasn't as deep as Vegeta's, but was still deep. His eyes were harsh, obviously seen his share of battles.

"Stand at attention, Saiyans!" he barked, causing even the prince to obey.
Mazuri stood at attention, examining this man who was their instructor. He was a strange looking Saiyan, but she wouldn't question it. She looked at his scouter particularly, it appearing as a pair of sunglasses and it didn't seem to cover his ear, but hang off his nose and ears. She then stepped forward as he pointed to her.

"You, woman." he scoffed. Mazuri narrowed her eyes but said nothing. "Choose your opponent."

Mazuri let a smile spread across her lips, and looked at the others in the group. Although, the chance at serving the prince a good fight was flying across her mind, she wouldn't give him the satisfaction.

Ishikaru snapped to quickly, caught a bit off guard by the man's unannounced approach. The instructor seemed largely unintimidating, but of course there was a reason he was in charge, so Ishikaru knew better than to mouth off. The instructor had on an odd scouter, almost like glasses, and his armor seemed a bit excessive, heavier than the standard issue set for sure. Guessing that was for intimidation purposes, he smirked mentally, unable to help but wonder what this man's power level even was. I bet everyone here outclasses him... Guy must get a big head ordering his betters around... he mused, doing his best to retain an indifferent expression. When Mazuri was called forward his attention moved to her, noticing a smile as she scanned the group. He wasn't sure who she'd pick, but what he could gather so far she was second only to the Prince himself, so whoever it was had their work cut out for them. I feel sorry for whoever gets stuck with her!

His mind wandered once more as he begin to try and decide his chances against all of the other students. While the were all at the same level because of the bands, each one of them had unique styles and abilities, no one was totally sure what the other was capable of. So either way, come the strongest or weakest opponent, everyone was sure to be in for a surprise. Part of him almost wanted a fight with the Prince, a chance to prove his mettle and get a firsthand chance to see Vegeta's prowess. Of course, all of the other fighters here were able enough, each one would pose a challenge. In the end it didn't really matter who they would spar with, they'd be a group working together in the end anyways, this was just for kicks as far as Ishikaru was concerned.

Chila chilled, to put things lightly, waiting for him to be called. He honestly, wasnt' thinking about much. He stood at attention, of course, but one could easily tell he was relaxed, if not a bit bored. He leaned his head to the left... Then the right, drifting off into space... Huh. Such an odd day today. Licking his dry lips he wiggled his toes in his boots and... Waited. Waited to pick or be picked. He didn't care who he got matched with. They would all fight at the same power levels, so it really just didn't matter.

Maybe he would get with the girl. In the back of his mind, he came up with some pleasant pick up lines to mock her with. If he was up against the Prince, he would have to be careful- From what he heard, he had quite a few tricks up his sleeve. The other three... SHouldn't be too hard. He couldn't really tell.

Hayte had been off day dreaming about his brother and family,as he did allot, Although he wouldn't openly admit it to anyone he was going to miss them. Even though for the past couple years he hasn't talked to his parents much as he drifted away from them. Although, something snapped him back into reality it was a voice of an older man as he looked towards the instructor he was wearing a weird set of scouters he wondered if those were standard issued or custom made. Although it doesn't really matter, Hayte gets onto his feet guessing no one has taken notice of him yet, which he prefers as the less he gets to know them the easier fighting will be. He gets up and takes a spot not far from vegeta and the other students and beings to wait for the girl to pick her 'opponent'

While he waits for her to pick her opponent. He would almost bet on the fact she will go against Vegeta as they already seem to not like each other very much. Although she could go against maybe one of us, whoever looks weaker in her eyes, and try to impress him? Maybe she is just a fan girl and is just acting all tough around him. Hayte just shakes his head slightly to clear it and stares at the instructor as he didn't even introduce himself, he found that quite rude, but he wasn't going to bring that up as maybe there was a reason for it.

Ryu instantly stepped away from the wall and stood to attention as he heard the gruff voice of who was presumably their new instructor, after spotting the battle hardened figure it was pretty obvious why he had been selected as the instructor. It was interesting that he let the woman choose her opponent fist and it was probably because of two reason:
    1. He didn't believe she belonged here and was testing her.
    2. He was a traditionalist and was working on the notion of 'ladies first'.
Whatever his reasons, Ryu hoped he wouldn't be chosen to fight first as he wanted to see the others' techniques and abilities before showing his own.
