"Still the best." Mia said, taking the offered piece of pie.


Riley lowered the 9mm he was shooting with, looking at the target across the room. Not bad. His ears were still ringing, but he could've sworn that he heard someone knocking. He switched the safety on the gun and stuck it into his belt, hidden by his shirt in the small of his back. He knew his sister would kill him if she found out that he took it.
He left the room, closing the door behind him. He ran up to the front door and listened, hearing voices. He opened the door. "Hello?"
Two very confused people looked at him. The two guys were both probably about 17. "Who the hell are you?" The first asked.
"Not one of ours." The second replied. The two looked at each other, then at Riley. Before he saw it coming, Riley felt a fist slam into his gut, gasping in surprise as all the air left his lungs. He crumpled in half, then was wrenched back up when the second guy grabbed a handful of his hair. "Who sent you, kid!" He screamed into Riley's face.
"What do you-argh!" Riley was cut off as another punch landed in his stomach.


Mia paused between bites of pie. She..... Had an odd feeling. "Hey, I'm gonna go check on the others."

James had heard the yelling. "No. Wait." He placed a hand on Mia's shoulder. "Lower screen." A large flatscreen lowered in front of them. "View: Main room," he said in a mechanical-sounding voice, and the screen clicked on, showing what was happening at the front door. "I'll handle this," he said, and stepped through a side door in the kitchen, sneaking to the armory, and grabbing a tranquilizer pistol, which was silent. He ran to the main room, pointing it at the 2 guys. "Hands in the air! Now!" he yelled.

Mia blinked, her eyes flashing a bright blue. She looked through the floor at what was going on. "He'll handle this? Not without me." She raced back down the stairs, fishing her slingshot out of her pocket. (Conveniently foldable!)


Riley's captor hauled him to his feet, holding him out at arm's length by his hair, facing James. "Oh, you want him back?" The guy said, smiling slightly. "This is our joint, dude. Get your lackies out." He pulled the 9mm from Riley's belt. "Oh look, now we're even."


Mia came to a halt, panting, at James' side.

James said "Jam" in the metallic voice again, and the pistol the guy had pulled from Riley's belt jammed. "Actually, this is my place. I found it 7 years ago. Now, would you kindly just get out? Or do I have to make you?"

Em walked out she was standing behind them, "Let him go and leave. You really don't want to mess with us." Em said. Her gun was attached to her belt.(I'm back )

(Welcome back. )
Both guys looked nervously at the group. "Ok, c'mon, this isn't worth it."
"What!" The second exclaimed, "Because of these brats? This one bit me!" He shook Riley, making his eyes tear from pain.
"You started it." Riley said through grit teeth.
"Oh yeah!?" He kicked him, and Riley fell to his knees. The guy raised the jammed gun above his head and brought it down on the blonde boy's head. He let go, and Riley fell foward, limp.
"Enough!" His capainion shouted, "We're going!"
They glared at each other before he relented. "Fine."

Em glared at the one that knocked Riley out. She ran towards him and jumped kicking him to the ground she landed and turned around. Her eyes filled with anger, no one messed with her friends.

"Crazy chick!" The guy's friend exclaimed. He hauled him by his arm, and the two of them took off down the street.

Em's face went back to normal and she walked over to Riley. "He will probably need some pain medication." Em told Mia and James. "I'll go get the pain medication and why don't you guys take him to somewhere calm that has a bed or something for him to rest on." She suggested

Mia crouched down next to her brother. "Hey Rie, you in there?"
Riley groaned out an "Ouch." He stayed stretched out on the floor and reached up to the back of his head. "Tylenol, anybody? I think my brain broke."
