Backstory: Lulu grew up living with just her father. Her mother ran out on them when she was a little girl, but she didn’t mind too much. It was her father who minded. He spent a few years drowning himself in drinking, but it only brought him closer to his daughter. Lulu took care of him instead of him taking care of her, and when he woke up to that fact one day, he spent the rest of his life trying to make up for it. He was there for every soccer game, every honor ceremony, every birthday party. He taught Lulu how to shoot and hunt, and she became pretty good using a crossbow, bow, or gun. Lulu graduated salutatorian of her high school and went to the local university, getting her bachelor’s in psychology. She began pursuing her master’s when the outbreak occurred. She dropped out of school, and became internally bitter, feeling like she’d wasted her entire life in school when it could end any day. Her father and she tried waiting it out like many other people, but they knew they couldn’t stay in their house forever and hope the infections would die down. They packed up the necessities, her father giving her his 9mm and the clips for it. She always kept her water bottle with her and made sure to bring along extra filters. Her father carried his own gun and a first aid kit, and they began walking to the nearest supposed safe house. On the way, they were attacked. Her father made her run, and Lulu did, hiding within watching distance. She saw her father die before her very eyes, and waited until the zombies had scattered before emerging. The only thing not covered in her father’s blood from the first aid kit was a roll of gauze she grabbed. She didn’t even have time to mourn as she moved on, managing to find a group of survivors before being attacked alone.
Other: Afraid of the dark, spiders, and tall corn fields, but not the infected. She just hates them.
