Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney!

Standing in a large room stood a large group of people ranging from young kids to adults. The floor was stained glass and at first it didn’t look like it was going to support them all but to their surprise it did as more people entered. From the view of the people It just looked like a bunch of mixed colors on the floor but from high up it was a picture of many different Disney characters mingling together. Why, you may ask, well that is because where these people stood was the gateway to a whole new world. A place where the circle of life begins and all dreams come true! Here in this strange room with the stained glass floor and many different colored doors was the chance to explore all those movies that kids have grown up with since any of them could remember. Now there was only one thing stopping them, a choice.

“Hello ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, to the wonderful world of Disney. There is no need to pinch yourselves for this is not a dream, it is merely a special chance to go into a special new world. Each door leads to a new special world of which I’m sure you know. The orange door leads to the pride lands.”

As the voice speaks, the orange door swings open letting out a flash of sunlight and through it the group hears a loud roar of a lion. Just as quickly as it opens it slams shut again.

“But folks, now you have a choice. Through the large white door lies your world, the normal human life of earth. You can either go through that door now, or you can enter one of these doors that now stands in front of you. The white door is a one way door, meaning if you go back to earth, you will never come back here. The other doors are both ways, you can come and go as you please. So now you must choose.” The voice said.

Doors opened and closed around them letting out roars and cries, music and lights. All flashing into the dimly lit room where these people gathered. Some people shifted uncomfortable and you could see it in their face that they wished to leave. It was too much for them and they didn’t wish to leave their comfy normal life. Others in the group were holding themselves back from running to the first door they seen, they were bored of the normal life and they were ready to start a new adventure.

“If we choose to go through one of the colored doors then choose to go home, can we do that?” A little boy who was standing silently in the crowd suddenly asked.
“Yes but again once that choice is made, you cannot return here.” The voice said.
Now the doors stopped opening and closing and everything went quiet except for the breathing of the people gathered.


“It’s time, either stay and go through a door or go home and never come back. You have 5 minutes, if you are still in here within that five minutes you will be welcome to explore. Begin.” The voice said and just like that all the doors swung open at once. Many people turned and rushed back through the white door that led back to earth. Many others looked around at each other and then at the doors that were surrounding them, trying to decide which one to go through first.

Finally five minutes was up and the room was very empty compared to what it was just a few minutes before.
“Welcome my wonderful group of chosen ones. From this day on your life has been changed and now you are ready to begin your adventure into the wonderful world of Disney. So go and choose a door, but remember thing may change.” The voice said, “and you can die.”

Alex Denis stood open mouthed as the doors opened themselves, various sounds could be heard from each one. She dodged out of the way as many people rushed to the exit. Some people just didn't have a sense of adventure it seemed, or just wanted to go home and believe it was all a bad dream. You had to wonder what would happen when you didn't show up in the real world though. After five minutes the room was relatively empty except for the ones that had stayed. They were told to make a choice, Alex carefully looked at each door, there were a lot of choices, and it was hard to tell what was behind each one based on the color of the doors. The only option would be to look behind each one. She walked towards a gray door, and wrapped her fingers around the handle to pull it open. She took a deep breath and gave a solid yank to open it, she flinched as her face was hit with water. She took a leap back and stared in disbelief, there was an ocean in the door. No that wasn't the right way to word it. She slammed the door shut and retreated back to the center of the room, she wouldn't want to be stuck in one of the worlds alone. Plus the being had said they could die, the ominous ships in the distance probably weren't a good first step.

She turned in circles a few times, and gave a small wave. "Hey all, names Alex Denis..."

Liz Blake had to contain her joy, when the figure said they were in a room that led them to different Disney worlds. She had always been a fan of Disney her parents referred to it as an obsession, but it was more of wanting to live in a world just like theirs. She tugged her headphones off her ears, and shut off the device. She had the tendency to listen to Disney songs everywhere, even in class despite her teachers getting angry with her. She was surprised by how many people had rushed out, she gave a sad wave to the last of the ones running out of the door then blinked as it was slammed shut. The voice referred to them as the chosen ones, and then told them they could die. Elizabeth trembled, maybe staying hadn't been the best idea. Knowing that death was a possibility was a bit different from being able to safely enjoy the worlds. She ran up to a white door and pulled it open, she recognized it as the world from Toy Story. She took a step in then leaped back with a scream. Her leg had started turning into, well what looked like a doll leg. She reached her hand in, and watched as it started to change to. She pulled it back in, and it was back to normal, it seemed that the doors would change the people entering it to match the world. At least they wouldn't have to worry about trying to blend in too much, but you had to wonder what happen in each world if they interfered. It couldn't be that bad right? She turned around as someone introduced themselves as Alex. Liz gave a small wave "I'm Liz!"

Richard pulled Seth to the side as people began running out of the room, he was only a few seconds older, but he was still the older brother that meant he had to protect his little brother. Seth unsuccessfully tried to push Richard away as he wanted to get out of the room and onto a world of adventure. "Let me go Richard! I wanna see the worlds!" In a silent but furious squabble Richard ended up with the upper hand and won their little fight by sitting on Seth. "Not yet Seth. The voice said we could die? Do you want to die?" Seth stuck his tongue out at Richard then pouted causing the older twin to roll his eyes. They both looked up as two girls introduced themselves, they both gave embarrassed waves, and awkward grins. While Richard was occupied with thinking of a way to explain why he was sitting on his brother, Seth took the opportunity to give Richard a shove. Both glared at each other ready to fight once again, but the remembered that there were other people in the room. Richard brushed some of the dust off of himself as he spoke "I'm Richard, and this red haired menace is my twin Seth." Seth crossed his arms "I'm no a red haired menace, he's just a blue haired stick in the mud!"

Seth looked at each of the doors, and finally decided he wanted to look at the Red colored one, while Richard set his sites on the Dark Blue colored one directly across from it. "Richard lets go in this one first!" Seth looked to his left then his right when he realized Richard hadn't followed him. "Riiiiiiiichard! I wanna go in this door!" Richard carefully opened the dark blue one he was in front of, then turned to the whining Seth. "That's nice, but as the older twin I proposition we go through this door first." Seth gave Richard a blank stare, he had no idea how being a few seconds older gave Richard any authority. He marched over at the same time Richard did and it ended with them both slamming each other doors shut. "You're always doing this!"

Alex Jan stood there in bewilderment as doors opened by themselves. He had heard something about Disney, his and most people's worlds, Pride lands and...Death?
Many people ran out of the white door that would supposedly lead back to his world. He shook his head and ran around to avoid most of them for five minutes. 'Seriously...Doesn't anyone have a sense of curiosity anymore?' He shook his head and looked around; atleast a few people were still there. He ran over to an mahogany coloured door and curled his fingers around the doorknob. He yanked the door open and took a peek inside. He saw a grave yard, plain with complimentary tomb stones, just your run of the mill standard grave yard...Except for a hill that's edge kept curling up until it turned into a spiral. That was...Odd. He stepped back and glanced around. Four people, a young adult, somebody who looked his age, and twins spoke. 'Alex Denis' 'Liz' and two people called 'Seth and Richard' Apparently. All the people were an...interesting bunch.

He let out a lazy sigh and went to follow their examples. He put his hands in his pocket, and spoke. It was better to have a companion rather than dying from being alone. "Hello, Everyone. My name is Alex Jan. Just call me Jan." He grinned, waving lazily.

Roxy was the first one to make a move after the voice went silent. She stepped forward and looked around at all the different doors.
“Where do I want to go first.” She thought to herself.
There were so many choices, so many movies that she loved and wished to live but finally after many moments of debate she chose the large Dark purple door, Lion king. Slowly she walked forward until she stood face to face with the door. She took a moment to glance back at the group which had now separated and then turned back. Gripping the handle she turned it and all at once the door flew open and she was sucked inside.

At first it was startling, the feeling of falling and then the feeling of her body changing. Her long arms and legs quickly turned into shorter furry ones. Her body snapped and twisted until finally she landed with a thud on the dusty grass. Shaking herself Roxy stood up but she quickly noticed she was shorter then before. She glanced back and almost screamed when she realized she was a lioness. Her tall body was now long and blackish and her tail was tipped with pure black hair. Looking down she noticed her hands were now fairly big paws with five sharp claws on each.
“When he said things may change, he meant it.” Roxy said with amazement.

Roxy glanced around and quickly noted that she was somewhere in the pride lands. She raised her head to the sky, sniffed the air then sneezed as a mix of hundreds of scents rushed into her nose. She rubbed her nose and tried again, this time controlling herself to not sniff so hard.
“Lions.” She finally said proudly before taking off in the direction of the scent.

Not too far along in her sprint she heard a roar and before she knew it she was taken down by a strong mass.
“Who are you and what are you doing here!” A lioness snarled in her face.
Roxy paused, a pause that caused her a painful slap across the face.
“I’m Roxy, I’m not from here.” Roxy quickly said.
She didn’t remember the voice saying that she needed to keep that she was human a secret but if she didn’t it wasn’t going to be this lioness she was going to tell.
“Follow me.” The lioness growled as she got up and started to pad away.
“Who is that?” Roxy thought to herself as she quietly followed behind.

Pride Rock soon came into view and Roxy realized the lioness was taking her to Mufasa, or was it Simba, she would soon find out.
“Scar we have a visitor.” The lioness called as they made it to the top of the rock.
“Uh-Oh, I picked a bad time to visit.” Roxy thought to herself and swallowed hard.
Finally allowing herself to look around she realized that there were hyenas mixed in with some of the lionesses and the Pride Lands were in fact starting to die. Looking back she noticed that Scar had appeared and was now staring at her.
“And where did you come from?” Scar sneered as he approached Roxy.
“I’m an outsider, I traveled a long way to get here.” Roxy quickly spit out, the first story that came to mind, one which she regretted as Scar slowly smiled.
“Roxy what have you gotten yourself into.” She thought.

Kat looked around at the people left then quietly looked at each of the doors in turn.
“Something calm, something sweet.” Kat thought to herself.
Just as she was about to step forward, others moved past her towards the doors and then began introducing themselves. Kat bit her lip as she tried to make herself speak but finally she spoke up.
“Bonjour tout le monde” She said outloud and instantly regretted it as she got confused glances or a few sneers.
“Hello.” She said quieter, her heavy French accent was very easy to pick up.
Kat lowered her head and let her hair fall over her face and she turned red from head to toe.
“French apparently isn’t something you just randomly speak, imbecile Kat, imbecile.” Kat mumbled to herself.
Now she forced herself to still stay here since now running through her head was her wanting to go home, go back with her family and not stay here. At least at home she wouldn’t get laughed.

Dakota didn’t wait for anyone after the voice stopped. He heard people introduce themselves, he heard people open and close doors but nothing stopped him as he moved forward. He saw this door when the doors had started opening and closing, he planned on going there now. Swinging open a black door he was met by the clang of metal then he leapt in. Instantly his clothes began to change until he landed on a wooden dock in pirates clothes.
“Awesome.” He thought to himself with a cocky smile.
Turning to his left he saw where the sounds were coming from, Jack Sparrow was already fighting with others on the dock.
“Hey need help?” Dakota called as he ran over to Jack.
Without a word Jack threw Dakota over an extra sword without missing a step and together the two of them began to fight off the larger group.

Iris glanced around the room then at her sister who had a curious look on her face.
“Sister, curiosity killed the cat.” Iris spoke softly under her breathe.
Raven looked at her sister and slowly smirked, her purple eyes shining brightly.
“The cat was clearly a fool.” Raven said slyly.
Suddenly Raven spotted two other twins, boys, running through the room.
“Looks like we aren’t the only twins sister dear.” Iris said as she stepped up beside Raven and looked at the two boys.
"They are tiny, so many small people.” Raven said with distaste before she looked away and started scanning each door.
Iris on the other hand walked over to the two doors and smiled.
“Hello, I’m Iris, and that’s my sister Raven.” She said, nodding to the purple haired girl who looked rather scary as she looked around.
“It’s probably good to get to know other people here before exploring, don’t you think?” She said with a smile.

Emily was one of the few curious ones who stayed back in the room after the announcement. An opportunity to visit other worlds was hard to come by and, dangerous or not, she was not willing to let such a chance slip past her. She could barely contain her excitement and was having a hard time choosing a door.

"Which one do you think we should go to, Aiden?" she asked, turning towards her older brother.

Aiden Brown was not happy with Emily's decision. The voice had said that they could die, and even though it was the world of Disney, he knew that not all of it was as pleasant as it looked. But he knew his sister better than anyone else and there was no way she was going to listen to him or anyone else if they tried to convince her to not visit the worlds. He shrugged at his sister's question, having half a mind to peek into all the doors before letting Emily visit them. Maybe he could find one that didn't endanger their lives.

Emily rolled her eyes at her brother and turned towards the group who were introducing themselves. A pair of twins, girls around her age, and some younger-looking teenagers. It looked like a pretty diverse group. "I'm Emily and this is my brother, Aiden!" she said, grinning at the group. "Which door will you guys choose?" she asked them.

Rowena blinked once, twice and then a third time for good measure as she silently listened to the voice that spoke of doors that lead to different lands. Emerald eyes went wide in shock and awe at the very idea and possibility of this opportunity. “No freakin' way.” The excitable woman exclaimed a slight country twang in her voice as she ignored its warning, her mind buzzing with just how big this could be. Fingers twitching as she began to investigate the doors surround them, she noted briefly that a few of seemed to almost call out to her; the most notable ones being a platinum door and a rather odd tan one that reminded her of a museum.

Voices swamped forth as people spoke and greeted those who had stayed behind, her own voice lost in her throat as she edged closer to the platinum door and set her hand against it. She had searched and waited so long to find proof of magic and to have what she desired most so close made her tingle with anxiety and anticipation. Nervousness broke a slight sweat over her temple when her hand made contact with the door; so much effort had gone into finding the magic contained within her world that she had nearly dried her trust fund to its bare bones and to have the answer just with in her grasp made her hesitant to go on. “What if it’s not what I thought it would be…” A soft whimper left her as she eyed the door’s handle and her hand hovering above it. “Meh, maybe it'd be best to wait.” The girl whispered to herself as she backed up and away from it knowing she was trying to make excuses for her cowardice.

Feet planted securely on the colored glass underfoot, the golden haired woman flicked her bangs from her face in irritation at her betraying thoughts. A quick look to the dwindling group and her eyes settled on one who seemed to be frustrated with her words just as she had been with her choice to leave and investigate the worlds beyond theirs. Left hand slipping into her pocket as she approached the cute blonde haired (French? if her knowledge of languages was right) woman, she waved her right to get her attention. “Hey now, no need to look so down darlin’.” Rowena smiled as she offered her hand in a gesture of greeting. “Name’s Hunter, Rowena Hunter and you miss?” Feeling more at peace in talking to someone, Rowena took a closer look at the other woman and wondered how she’d fair as a traveling companion… perhaps with the help of another she might have the courage to take that last leap.

There were many doors and every single one piqued Jack's interest. He stood off to a far edge from the group, examining the doors closely. His crimson shoes padded softly along the stained glass that acts as their floor, green hues from his irises watching the doorways to other worlds more than the group that he arrived with. Jack Kipps wasn't as much anti-social as he was disinterested, proof being that he has yet to remove his headphones and completely ignored the voice that greeted and informed the group. Even as his mind was running wild with the probability of new adventures, thrown into the fray of imagination are the many types of personalities that would inhibit the others from wanting to explore a world that wasn't their own. Like always, however, he dismisses his thoughts before they are too detailed and he notches his head, stopping by a Silver door.

People were introducing themselves already. Inquiring for other partners, perhaps? It was likely, however Jack didn't seem too interested. Nonetheless, his eyes noticed a younger boy nearby that had chosen a door that led to one of Jack's own personal favorites: Nightmare Before Christmas. Unfortunately, the boy approached the group and introduced himself just like the others. Eyes floating over the group, which Kipps realized as others being rather close his age, give or take a few years, he shifts his arms so that they cross his chest and he backs slowly to the Silver door, attempting to keep his actions subtle. Once he enters a new world, he wouldn't be against having a partner, but he'd prefer to be alone rather than be stuck with someone that would get on his every last nerve. His steps bring him closer to the door and his hand is knocked by the doorknob, so he quickly grasps it and pulls it open just an inch or so to peer beyond: Definitely a fantasy world, but which? A light-hearted garden, giant insects, new types of flowers... it has to be Alice in Wonderland.
