I put in 15 different samples before I got bored including WOTM entries, some other solo fiction writing pieces, RP posts, and a few non-fiction things pulled from a couple recent threads in the OT section. Here's the list of which authors I got, with the kinds of writing that gave those results listed because I'm too lazy to go through and delete those from each line.

Dan Brown - 2 times (WOTM #15 and #18 entries, the two out of five entered that I lost, hah)
Ursula K. Le Guin - 2 times (WOTM #16 entry and a non-fiction writing sample)
    H. P. Lovecraft - 2 times (One non-fiction sample and an old beginning of a novel attempt)
Cory Doctorow - 2 times (An old beginning of a novel attempt and a sci-fi RP post)
    William Shakespeare (WOTM #17 entry)
    P. G. Wodehouse (WOTM #19 entry)
    Oscar Wilde (WOTM #20 entry)
    Isaac Asimov (Non-fiction writing sample)
Daniel Defoe (Newest novel beginnings, from NaNoWriMo)
James Fenimore Cooper (Old fiction writing)
    Anne Rice (RP post)

So that's neat I guess? My favorite part is how the two WOTM entries that I lost with were the ones that it said were like Dan Brown.

EDIT: For shits and giggles I put this post through the analyzer. H. P. Lovecraft, apparently.

Chuck Palahniuk is best known for writing Fight Club.

He wrote Fight Club and Choke. Wait. Are you proud of being compared to Dan Brown?

I'd take that as a compliment Pandapands C:

He knows how to entertain a large majority. His books are in no way as good as Stephen Kings stuff. But his conveyance is similar.

He was an American sci-fi writer. Apparently one of his novels was the rough basis (meaning it was significantly changed) for the movie Soylent Green. Wikipedia says he was fairly popular in the sci-fi community. I've never read any of his work so I can't say from personal experience, but I'd guess it's not an awful result or anything.
