Heya, guys! I've never really done a '1x1' Interest Check before, so I guess I'll just dive straight into it! xD

About Me

I thought we'd start with a little bit of information about me, because I know you all want to know about me. I'm an eighteen year old guy who's originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, but I moved to Perth in Western Australia when I was about.. eleven. I'm on break right now before going into Law School.

As for my RP 'experience', I've been RPing since I was about.. uh.. nine, I think, so I would call myself decent at weaving a story. I've also written a few novels, but I'm yet to send them to a publisher. In group RPs, I usually go for Advanced, but seeing as this is gonna just be a 'you and me' sort of RP, I'd say we should make the minimum, hm.. two or three paragraphs a post?

I'm cool with romance, and mature themes, but they don't have to be the main focus of a roleplay - they can get boring, after a while! I do love violence, though.

Anyways, that's enough about my rambling! Please, read on, and look at my ideas!

The Night Angel Trilogy - **Wanted**


So, I've recently re-read my favorite series - The Night Angel Trilogy, by Brent Weeks. The books follow the life of Azoth, a street rat in the city of Cenaria, who wants to get out of the slums and make a better life for himself. He ends up achieving this goal, by apprenticing under the Wetboy Durzo Blint ( Wetboys are sort of like.. assassins, but a lot better, and they utilize sort of.. passive magics. ) and changes his name to Kylar Stern.

I could spend all day describing the series, but I won't - I'm mostly looking for someone who know of the books, and has maybe read a few of them - but, failing that, there's a wikia with a bunch of info on the series.

I'm thinking of basing the plot a few years after the last book, or maybe a few hundred before the series started; the main plot point would be a race for control of the ka'kari (six magical gems which grant the user a unique ability).

If you go for this idea, I'll love you forever.

Oh wow, you're like the first person on this forum that's mentioned The Night Angel Trilogy. It's been a while since I've read it though and I believe I only read the first two books.

I'm into a lot of other fandoms you mentioned though, if my knowledge on NAT is too poor.

I was thinking of doing something like Durzo and Kylar's relationship, but possibly with a female apprentice if you're a female.

I was kinda trying to steer away from Canon. I wanted to play a Wetboy who had the Silver Ka'kari - perhaps during the books, or before them.
