The Road To Hell
Addison, or rather the demon possessing her, sat comfortably on her living room couch. Her fingers brushed over her necklace, twirling the small gem in her fingers as she stared through the window. Ambulences and police vehichles littered the block. People chattered away at how one of their neighbors had been brutally murdered. "Who could do such a thing?"She heard through the cracked window. No one would suspect her. She wasnt even that old. She wasnt even that strong. She wasnt strong enough to take down a grown man in his min thirty's. She was just a girl. She was just a girl.
So many things she wish she could do, but she couldn't. Not now anyway. Not since the hunters had strolled into town. She had expected them to come, sure, but not so soon. She had expected at least to have enough time to have a little fun. Kill a little. Have some fun with her new meatsuit...
It didnt matter. She'd have none of that now. Now, she had to keep her defenses up. While her neighbors would never suspect her, she had no idea about these hunters. She knew what they were capable of and she would be damned if they got the opportunity to send her back to hell. No way. She wasnt having it.

Sam Winchester was propped up against the side of the impala as the brothers rode into town. He'd be lying if hed said he wasnt tired. He hadn't slept the entire ride into town. He hadn't slept since he had the nightmare.
The nightmares bothered him. It wasnt normal for him to see things that were going to happen. It wasnt fair for him to see things that no matter how hard he tried, more often than not, he couldnt change them. He hated it.. but he never let his brother know that. As far as Sam knew, Dean still wasnt to keen on Sam having visions in the first place. So he kept it to himself.
Sam had had the nightmare about the man the night before. In a panick, he woke his brother up and forced to him to pack. They had to make it to the small town before dawn. Before the mans death.
They had managed to cross the state border in those few short hours, but, unfortunately, they hadnt made it in time. The cops had the place in lock down. It would make their job harder, but then again, it had never stopped them before.

Hayley Waller was determined. She was determined to be the first hunter on the seen. It was pure luck that she'd been in this town. A call from on old friend beckoning her to visit and, her she was. Only, she'd ended up leaving that friend in a mad rush to get to this neighborhood as soon as she'd picked up on what happened.
It seemed normal. Well, as normal as a murder in broad daylight could get, but Hayley knew that it wasn't. She'd heard the chatter of a demon. This was exactly the type of thing a demon would do. And if it was possessing someone, which it probably was, there was bound to be clues at the scene. If they cops hadn't destroyed the place already then maybe, just maybe, she could find them.
Only, as soon as she pulled up to the house, she knew that the cops were the least of her worries. A very familiar impala sat a few feet away from all the ruckus. And, inside that impala were two men. She knew them well. How could they have gotten here so fast? They were nowhere near this place last time she'd checked.
Well, it was better late than never. Grabbing her bag, she stepped out of the car.

Through the window, Addison saw another car pull up. She knew enough to assume that this was a hunter as well. No one else would drive directly to a car scene in an everyday vehicle. However, this hunter she didnt recognize. The Winchesters she knew. Everyone knew. In fact, Sam was Azazels favorite special child. She'd hoped that the brothers would show up. She wasnt sure, though, how to react to there being a third hunter around. Two was dangerous enough, but three?. Shed have to do something to throw them off her trail.

With a quick glance at his brother, Sam grabbed his fake FBI badge out of the glove compartment. He'd need it to get by the police tape. He opened the door and began walking towards the house. Towards the crime scene. When a rookie cop attempted to stop him from getting by he merely flashed his badge. "This is an FBI investigation now." He said with another glance at his brother.
Hands shoved in his pocket, he made his way into the house. The was blood everywhere, splattered in all directions. Flashes of what he had seen popped into his head. He wasnt having a vision, he was just remembering the nightmare he had had. He didnt see much. All he had seen was the man waking up to get a mid night snack. When he closed the fridge and turned around his throat was slashed.
He looked down at the window sill. Sulfer. "Dean." He pointed out. He had had a feeling that a demon was behind this. His visions were always linked either to yellow eyes or to kids with powers just like him. He sighed and ran a hand down his face.

Damn.
They'd gotten inside the house before her. It was probably a rouse, Hayley knew. The only thing that would make a local cop move out of the way so fast would have to be a federal agent. The Winchester brothers were smart, she'd give them that. She'd have to find another way to get in. No way the cops would believe another FBI agent would turn up so fast.
Turning on the tears and smudging her make-up a little, Hayley twisted her face into a look of horror. "Oh my God!" She cried, running up to the police tape. "Oh my God."
One of the cops standing guard jumped in shock. "Woah. Ma'am, this is an active crime scene. What's the matter?"
"My father!" Hayley yelled. "What's happened to my father?"

Dean made his way over to where Sam was pointing, but something out the window caught his eye. "Sam." He said, pointing out into the yard.

Sam looked up from the window sill and through the window. He recognized the voice he was hearing, but he couldnt quiet place it. He moved away from the window and back out the door to see who it was. When he got there his face contorted in confusion and then into amusement as he realised who it was. "Haley." He breathed out and shook his head in amusement before moving towards the officer.
"I'm sorry did you say you were the victims daughter?" Sam asked Hailey, moving in front of the cop. If he could convince the cop that he would handle this then he could get her inside. Find out what she was doing here.

Hiding her smug feeling, Hailey nodded. "Yes," She said tearfully. "Oh my goodness, what happened?"
She had to lay it on thick if she wanted the cop to believe her. She saw Dean's shocked face in the back of the room, and gave him a sly wink that make his lips turn into a scowl. Yes, he was angry at the interruption.

Sam kept a straight face. It was a skill he had acquired over the years. A nessesary one. "I think we should discuss this." He told her, then glanced at the officer. "Privately." He said as he motioned for her to follow him aside. He looked at his brother and shook his head as he looked back to Haley. "What are you doing here?"

Once Hailey was sure that the police officer was out of the room, she wiped away her tears and smiled at the brothers. They looked tense. "Hello."
Dean said, "What are you doing here?"
Hailey took a deep breath. Why were they standing around talking? They should be looking for clues, interviewing neighbors. As long as they were posing as FBI agents, she supposed she could, too, once they got out of the house.
"The same reason as you. Why else would I be here?" Hailey asked.

Sam narrowed his eyes scrutinizing her answer. "Huh." He responded looking around the house. It had been a while since he'd last seen Hailey and he wasnt sure if he could accept her answer. The brothers had only known because of Sams nightmare. Whatever. It didnt matter.
"So I guess you want to work the case too, then?" He asked her.

Hailey looked at him. "Yes. Of cou--" she stopped short as she caught site of the window sill. "Is that sulfur? Because if it is, you're going to need my help."
They couldn't possibly deal with a demon on their own, Hailey thought. They'll need me.
