Fantasy Adventure, anyone??

Pretty new here, moderately active. Just wanna roleplay some typical fantasy stuff. Elves, dragons, dwarves and all that. Not really based on any particular fandom or game. PM me and we'll discuss some ideas.

I was thinking something pretty simple; just a story along the lines of a group of friends going on a quest to save the world or whatever. I'll post more when I'm feeling imaginative.

Also, I'd be happy to join any of your RP's if you'll have me. As long as it's not one of those love interest thingies. Ugh.

Go simple. Players are guarding a caravan. The caravan is attacked. If the game last that long you can stay worrying about why.

I might toss in my hat and say i'm interested. Perhaps we could do that common D&D fetch quest?

As I said earlier. The PCs are all in a caravan. They can be passengers on one of the wagons. They could be caravan guards. They could be traders or craftsmen or even adventurers! It's a perfect starting place.

Give people a few pages to get to know one another and then spring the goblin/orc ambush! Maybe the nasties are interested in a magical device in the caravan needed to raise some fell demon or god? Maybe one of the carriages possesses the dead body or ashes of a great clan chief they want to raise from the dead to lead some great horde? Maybe they're interested in simple "phat lewt".

Heck, maybe even the PCs are overwhelmed and must then find some way to escape! There are near infinite ways to go from that simple scenario.
