The Oxford comma

I still use it, didn't know there was a specific name for its use.

Sentences just looked fuck up to me when people are listing multiple things and the final two lack a comma to separate them, just like those images.

It's to do with how you are taught it in school. My class didn't learn about it, but I used it as I used to read a lot, so I was aware it exists.

Yeah, same here for both of these. I never learned it in school, in fact I was taught to do it the other way, but I thought lists always looked weird without that comma so I put it in. That was also how it was done in most books I read, so I said fuck the taught method and did it my way.

I remember when I had a teacher who said the Oxford comma was outdated and incorrect.
Almost failed that class because of my stubbornness.

That's fucking ridiculous. It's neither of those things, people are just dumb twats. Honestly, they should be pressing use of the Oxford comma because it makes things less confusing for stupid people who might have trouble with it.

Also it looks better with the Oxford comma, so they can eat a dick as far as I'm concerned.

I'd use the JFK example until the teacher allowed for my anachronistic writing to pass.

Oxford comma is standard.

But I guess the teach would rephrase it:

-JFK, Stalin and the strippers; JFK horded them all because he's a telepathic sexxy-robot-devil on the side of free-market and would eliminate government-pensions.
