This sounds awesome!
You survey all that is. Long laid swaths of hills and valleys, peppered with forests of a much deeper philosophy. Quiet ranges of what could barely be considered mountains, their heights far surpassed by the depths of the void and vibrant ocean. Deserts and tundra, with temperamental vanities beyond their merit, and just the faintest newborn arctic polls. And so many people. This world is young, and ripe. Soon, you shall carve your design into the hills and mountains, leave your signature upon the seas and sky, so that every one of them knows your name. You will be the God of Gods.
But you’ll have to get there first. And you’re not alone.
Welcome to Creation.
So that's the general idea. Players are among a pantheon of Gods, building a world together. Casual to Advanced, depending on player interest. Is there that?
This sounds awesome!
An RP where I can play as god? I'm down for that.
Just a question though, we are our own gods yes? as in we make our own?
I'm in!

Yeah, each player makes their own original God, setting up a new and unique pantheon. Since Gods are such big business, I'd like to enforce a standard of control through a point-system: basically, everyone picks how they'd like to exert their God-power, and sends it to me through PM. I'll play a gamemaster role, and at the end of each "round" (an arbitrary measure of time, when you're God) I'll post the results of these actions... a lot of the fun in the game should come from these results (for example, maybe the God of Spring and the Goddess of Secrets both try to create an earthly avatar, and we wind up with some twisted Easter Bunny running around "hiding" children--that sort of thing). The rest of the fun comes between round posts, with the Gods (you guys) interacting with each other and the world--imagine politicking, intrigue, betrayal, maybe love, that sort of thing.
Four's enough players to start, though I imagine an open situation where more could join along the way. If this system sounds appealing to you guys (or anyone else), I'll go ahead and set up an OOC thread with a lot more information (mostly character creation) in the appropriate forum.
(Also, what do you guys think of the rating, between Casual and Advanced? Due to the somewhat complex nature of "send your actions to the GM over PM," I'm sort of seeing Advanced, but it probably comes down to how you guys who like to play between roundposts--general conversation and development for Casual, or more complex world exploration and interaction for Advanced. What do you think?)

I'm more of a casual player myself, thought I can do advanced if I'm really, really, really, motivated. It also depends on the other peoples posts as well, because I like outdoing people so if there's is longer than mine, I always at least try to match it in length.
But yes, that system sounds decent enough to start out with.
I don't really care if we go advanced or casual. I can do both. It's up to you. Ilike the system though.

Interested, but don't rely on me. Sounds similar to Dawn of Worlds. I joined a RP that died just before it actually started with that. Would have been a lot of fun tough...
