And a quick question, if anyone can answer, cos I couldn't find anything about it in the rules... what's the law around sex/gore? I've known boards that disallow it, and I'd rather not make a bad first impression...

We are pretty nice around here, so don't be shy.
A basic rule on gore/sex is to keep everything PG-13. When roleplaying sex, the fade-to-black option works best, but if your partner is alright with it, it can be taken to PM.
