asylum overrun by inmates

I was listening to creepypastas today and got an urge to do a creepy, dark, bloody, scary, twisted, demented rp. You know, fun for the whole family
You could play either an inmate, a doctor or some other staff of the asylum or a visitor. The asylum would suddenly be put into lockdown and all of the inmates escape their cells but can't get out of the asylum. But neither can anyone else.
So it is a free for all bloodbath killing spree among the inmates, with the staff and visitors trying to survive and find a way out. The question is... who put the asylum into lockdown and released the inmates... and why...?
