Okay, so I told Asu that I wouldn't do this today. But... I'm doing this today. Mainly because I felt the desire to put effort in to this. So... er... yeah. Hi! I was around in the original. bowbeforeme I hope my CS is still valid, it seems like it's fine.

    Name: Thomas Cale
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
Outfit and Rank: Royal Air Force, Major

Appearance: Mostly white scales, with some streaks of red around the shoulders, Major Cale is in the body of a nearly-three-meter tall Drake. His talons, wings, and tail are a stark black, offering a shocking contrast to the rest of his appearance.

Service Record: An English-born man, Thomas Cale moved to Liverpool at the age of sixteen. His mother had died giving birth to him; his father died in service to the Royal Air Force. Thomas couldn't pay his own way through school, so he couldn't go to college; as soon as he graduated high school, he saw no other option than to live up to his dad's legacy and join the RAF. He did so, and was immediately noticed by the higher-ups for two reasons; the first was his lineage, as Thomas' father was one of the most daring, quick, and effective pilots they had. The second was that he shared his father's talents. Thomas quickly rose through the ranks, and, when the war began, he was one of the first men they sent out in an attempt to raze the Kora'ai camps.

He successfully dropped his payload and was heading back to Langley when he heard the sound he had been dreading since the mission began; the steady thumping of wings. One of the Kora'ai landed on his right wing just before he could make the jump past the sound barrier. It dragged his ship down, sending it spiraling towards the ground, and Thomas didn't have time to eject, although he certainly tried. As he lay in the smoking remains of his plane, death inches away from him, he noticed one thing with grim satisfaction- the Kora'ai which had landed on his plane was lying in pieces next to him. Whether one of his wingmen had done the job, or his exploding plane had, he would never know.

Thomas is a rather introverted person; although he can lead men with great ease, he doesn't make very many friends. He's also an intellectual, even though he never made it to college, which he could blame on his home life; his father, although a great military man, wasn't a proficient caregiver. It wasn't that he got drunk often, or beat his son, it was simply that he was out of his element when with his child.

Other: No surviving immediate family, and since no family came to help him when he moved to Liverpool, he assumes that the rest of his family lives far away. Thomas is cunning, as mentioned before, but often keeps his thoughts to himself. While introverted, he is skilled in persuasion- he flippantly blames it on his English charm, but in reality it is a carefully cultivated skill of his. He isn't the strongest of people, so when it comes to combat he'll rely mostly on any possible weapons. If no weapons make themselves available, he will either improvise or- more often than not- have to flee.

This is almost word for word my previous submission, mind you, so it should be fine. The only noteworthy change is the "other" section.

The changes are alright. Major Cale, it's good to have you back.

Just waiting on a few more people to post, then I can put up both a short-term destination, and a solution to those who opted for limited muscle memory.

Edited. Also keep in mind that Chinaman can offend people of Chinese descent. I'm so sorry for being late to the party.

My junction of characters is right here.

^ Also, Chinese people in America is...not surprising. In the least.
Some people focus on what they're going through. Champions focus on what they're going to.

About to reply. I just realized that when Ace died there was no such thing as a Kora'ai. So, I'm thinking the information was put into her brain because.....loop holes.

    Need a clue?

Uber, the concept of the post was good; you get the idea, but the execution feels a little... disjointed. It felt like sentence fragments thrown together with little regard for proper order. While I'll deal with it for now, I'm going to have to ask that you tidy it up your posts in the future.

Blue, I'd like to remind you that even at this point we know next to nothing about culture and religion - minority or otherwise, and the religion Met's heading up is DEFINITELY Minority.

And most humans only know them by the derogatory term, "Drakes," rather than what they call themselves, Kora'ai. People seem to miss that; missing it eliminates the point of having such a term to begin with. >.>

And I understand the intent; She's fine with knowing what everyone else knows. What everyone else knows, on the other hand is an entirely different ballgame. Humanity as a whole hasn't had very much non-hostile contact, and so wouldn't be able to interact with and study their... visitors under peaceful conditions; hence why they don't know much about language and culture.

I actually got a bit of the 'hard to read' feeling from it, but I wasn't going to point it out unless adding on to this, since, ya know, it's not my business to critique ^.^ but I do also agree that the concept there-in was cool =3 a bit of that chinese culture involving dragons showing up is cool ^.^

On the other stuff =3 I'd say in my character's case he was 'deep in information', so to speak, so he could know of the word 'kora'ai', unless you meant that humans literally don't at all know that they use that name for themselves, in which case even he wouldn't know it XD
