Bump.
SPOT IS TAKEN.
I am looking for someone to play the coach, friend and eventual romantic interest opposite of my character. I would prefer that the person have some knowledge of boxing or MMA, even if it is just a little. I expect this to be long-term and to be a very emotionally charged role-play. Additionally, I do not want romance or any romantic element right off the bat. They begin simply as coach and student and they will have a natural progression towards friendship and trust.
The plot:
E was born into a hell-like home. Her father was a drunk, her mother was depressed and mentally absent. E was left to raise two younger siblings on her own, though she was only a child herself. Abuse became commonplace and E had learned to take a punch as the years rolled on and fighting became somewhat of a second nature to her. School was a battle ground, and in time she was removed for her constant fighting.
Years later, drug use and self-abuse had nearly swallowed E whole. Until she met {Your character} a trainer at a boxing school. He saw her potential and longed to have her raged channeled into becoming a fighter and giving herself internal peace.
Of course we can change whatever needed and adapt things, I'm all up for that. This is just a bare-bones skeleton of an idea I had. I expect we will discuss it further.
What I want from you:
I. At least three posts a week
II. Commitment
III. A well developed character
IV. A minimum of two paragraphs per posting
V. Creativity and the ability to propel a storyline
VI. Some knowledge of boxing or MMA would be ideal
Post here or PM me if you are interested.

Haha, yeah. Too long! I've been ON and OFF for quite some time. Was just hunting around to see if there were one or two tasty little morsels to get me back into the swing and happened to stop by your Interest Check.
*Huggle!*
First thing that came to mind was Million Dollar Baby (which, mind you, I've never seen), followed by Real Steel (Haha).
I hope your search goes well. It looks like it'll turn out to be something quite heartfelt, when you get the ball rolling.
