Name: Guardian Angel
Age: 2481 (24)
Race: Guardian Angel
Race Description: In a land of fire and brimstone, cast from the skies and forged in holy flame, Guardian Angels descend from the skies. Unable to be seen by most, they are only visible to those truly impure of heart, or those who seek to harm those they are to protect. Guardian Angels functions are numerous, but most are born to protect special people, who, chosen from birth, are to lead the world to new eras of greatness. They must protect these people from all forms of harm, if it means giving their own lives, then so be it. Others will take their place. They are powerful demi-gods, but their powers are used rarely, and only in defense of others.
Appearence: Caelum wears a full suit of armor at nearly all times, holy in power, hardened light steel, light, but strong. It covers his shoulders, as well as his chest, legs, and arms, as well as boots and gauntlets. A pair of angelic wings burst from this mans back as well, although they seem physically real, moving hands to touch them will simply go through them like a ghostly fabric. A helmet sometimes adorns his face, which is a typical T shape slot for sight, and all of his armor is adorned with beautiful signs. If without armor, one would see him in his full ability. A graceful being by all means, he is fit, tall, at nearly 6'8, strong, with short, bleach blonde hair, and faint blue eyes.
Personality: Calm in his life, and focused in battle, Caelum is an artifact of his own ancient history. He speaks to everyone in a calm, yet, shallow voice, which echoes out, like multiple peoples talking at once. He rarely speaks, and when he does, it almost always calming and soothing in nature. He holds any friends he can find close, and is more then willing to take the blow for others, its in his nature. He is honest at heart, and is a pariah of good, as he should be.
Biography: In a world of fire and brimstone... Thousands of years... A fantasy world by all means, but... Different. It was 10,000 years ago in this world that the surface was stricken with a terrible evil- Portals to the lands of hell itself had been opened. There was no stopping the terror that ravaged the world above, so instead, everyone dug into the earth itself instead, hiding in deep underground caverns, building massive self sustaining castles to hide from the death and flames that were above- But there was no escape. The demons followed them, even into the pits of earth, to vanquish what little resistance the humans had left. All hope seem lost- Until, they came. The Guardian Angels. From the heavens above it seemed, they were sent, protecting over the humans and slaughtering the evils of darkness.
Fast forward 10,000 years, and we come to a lone boy- A guardian Angel, sent to protect a king. A powerful job, indeed. He was granted his powers and weapon, and in a flurry of new found vigor, he protected his king for many long years- Until a fateful day, where the male found he could not save his student- Slaughtered, before his very eyes. Fear wrenched in his heart- He knew what came now. Any angel who failed to protect his student would be vanquished from the planet. Yet... For some odd reason... He was left alive. He was not destroyed.
Instead, he was thrust into a new world- A strange one... Much like his old... But without the pain, and suffering. No, a new evil arose in this world... One of the living in a struggle with the walking dead... Ghosts of past wars... A hell worse then where he came from.
Change Form: A Guardian Angel can disguise themselves as anything they please- Though they must be living. Their voice also remains the same, and it must be the same sex as their original sex.
Blessed Blade of the Gods: All angels are issued this blade, forged of holy steel, it cannot be destroyed. It can be disassembled and reassembled into the wielders hand whenever he wishes. Its blows are of holy might, the power of the gods themselves cast into this blades very soul. It is beautiful in appearance, shining a golden light to the surrounding areas. It illuminates all in its path, and is truly a symbol of good among evil.
Flight: Guardian Angels can fly using their wings, quite fast.
Master Swordsman: All Guardian Angels are taught from birth how to correctly use their blades.
Holy Healing: Using the light above, a guardian angel can sew and heal some wounds, though this ability loses its effect after one or two uses.
Fierce Flames: A slash of the sword can be used to create an sliver of light that can slash through even the hardest materials.
Fierce Flames : A crash of light that can knock some back, and even burn the flesh of those who are unholy.
Protective Gaze: A guardian angel can shield others from danger, taking damage instead of them.
Part of me wants to challenge you, but the other part of me is saying at least one of my characters is basically a rip-off of yours. Even though I didn't even know it was o.O
"I'm a rip-off? How!?!?"
...Cause you're nearly eternal, keep balance, and have a distinct lack of friends or an actual home.
"Least I'm friendlier than Zane!"
Letting Destiny control your life is like giving up your free will. You have no real choice in your life, only a set path forced upon you. Some Destinies put you on a path of good, while others put you on a path of evil. However, Destiny forces you onto those paths sometimes, making you give up many things that define you. Destiny is in truth, a double edged sword. It cuts you just as deeply as it cuts into the paths of others.
Never let Destiny guide you. It may cause more harm to who you are than you think.
