The Hobbit (spin off/co-gms wanted)

So I watched the move recently and was brought back to my childhood memories of the Lord of the Rings and Middle Earth. So I was wondering if anyone wanted to do an rp that took place in Middle Earth? I could write up a plot but I think it would turn out a lot better if some people who might know a bit more than I do about the universe could work with me on one.

After the dark lord was defeated, the elves crossed the sea to try and find Valinor, they were successful in reaching their destination but when they arrived they discovered that a great darkness had descended upon the land. After failing to defeat the darkness the elves fled and returned to middle earth, unaware that the darkness followed them across the sea...

So yeah that's the basic premise and the RP could be based on us gathering artefacts to try and fight the darkness or some other way to combat it.

I know I dropped out of the last few of your RPs Story, and I apologize for that.

But I've always liked LOTR and The Hobbit.
