Well, the thread name says it all, really.
I'm looking for someone who's willing to join with me for a simple, yet hopefully enjoyable RP wherein I start to see how the combat works in this site without perusing through other threads. Sorta, going in the deep end first.

The character in question is likely to be one of my mains if not the main himself.
TenHass
6'1"
50-60 years. Uncertain any closer than that.
Race: Mochtahr (Sorta like vampires, but if you get there through breeding mortals with demons over generations rather than blood-drinking and dying).
Tier:... The one where people can be skilled at arms? I've yet to find a guide on which tier is which. I'll edit this post as to the tier if I am guided.
Skills and Disciplines: Err. "Pattern of the Dragon". Typically differs from person to person, but often incorporates two small weapons and/or one large weapon. Focus on speed of the kill, and unforgiving technique: Attacks while defending, actual attacking is terribly damaging and potentially lethal.
Incorporates Psionics and blood magic. Is a hard thing to master, and only one with decades of true dedication could hope to do so. Kinda like Shao-lin.
Setting: Renaissance-era fantasy.

Don't worry, if you're after a light-hearted pugilism contest, he can do that, too. This guy isn't pure death and hate.

Tier Levels

• Level 1 || This is the general human level, encompassing the power attainable by the average Joe and is limited to the most basic of technological weapons, like guns, crossbow and knives—maybe even a scooter if in the wrong hands.
• Level 2|| Human abilities at their peak, but still nothing overtly supernatural. Examples would be a genius IQ, very minor spell-casting ability (I’m talking sparking dried brush into flame). Technological objects such as laser guns fall under this level.
• Level 3|| Genetic, cybernetic, divine or magical enhancements that allow you to run as fast as a sports car, jump anime style, or bench three-hundred pounds without breaking a sweat—as well as other physical modifications of that level. Dexterity level equal to an expert marksman, low level psionics and spellcasting ability, super-genius intelligence quotient and martial arts master are other examples of Level 3 abilities. Equipment falls under the same range of power.
• Level 4 || Examples of Level 4 powers and abilities include Mad Scientist level genius and scientific ability, long ranged telepathy, magical powers that to not involve a divine patron, and the ability to shoot flaming bats with magic arrows of light without the aide of that damnable fairy partner. In general, the range of ability to be expected from a Jedi Padawan of Star Wars or a Gennin Ninja of Naruto—as well as the use of cybernetics, alchemy, and so on to simulate any of that.
• Level 5 || The basics of nano technology capable of regenerating minor wounds, or alternatively wizardry or clerical ability capable of the same. You can pilot your own short range star fighter and have access to technology so advanced as to be almost magical in nature. The ability to fly for any reason you can think of that makes any rudimentary amount of plot logic. Your character may have the reflexes and skills of an elite Jedi Knight, the speed of Saito Hajime, and the power to take down Trinity of The Matrix with ease.
• Level 6 || The ability to heal major damage taken bother personally, or by others, through the method of your choice. The charisma and influence necessary to muster an army of elite soldiers, and access to the technology needed to build and operate a small space craft capable of interstellar travel (or a magic dragon from the future, whatever floats your boat). Your powers and skills rival those of Gandalf the White, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Himura Kenshin at their best.
• Level 7 || Personal shielding and an Imperial Star Destroyer for a flagship; computer expertise that can take down Borg Cubes, and you may have weapons so slick and high tech that they make the ladies hot and bothered. You can distort space-time at will with your magic, enough so to influence events worlds or even years away, and your physical strikes can no longer even be seen. Armies of grizzled veterans--wearing too much steel to stand up on their own—will carry your banner to war and ride really expensive looking horses across the battlefield. You could out gun an Agent in the Matrix or beat him down with your martial arts, and powers and abilities compare to Mace Windu of Star Wars, Ultimecia Final Fantasy, and Hyuuga Ricdeau of Xenogears.
• Level 8 || The firewalls of the Death Star and Magi Supercomputers fall with ease before your unbeatable hacking skills. You can repair lost limbs and destroyed vital functions expediently. Your powers can cut down small armies, and shield you from the effects of nuclear weapons. You are no longer merely limited to visiting other worlds and epochs from afar, but may now visit them personally. Powers are of comparable scale to Marvel’s Magneto and Doctor Strange.
• Level 9 || That your powers rank less then omnipotent and have finite energy requirements are essentially your only restrictions at this point.
• Level 10|| Anything becomes possible within the restraints of the rules of the forum and common sense.

Not to win of course as I most likely won't, but a punching-bag that fights back and is not an super confident, "I've only used a thousandth of my power!" type of character is always a welcome treat, right?

And, nice job on the pic. As a doodler/sketcher, I can see quite a few good qualities about your skills, even through the poor quality.

And then have all of their muscles blow up a thousand percent just from twitching...
And die a horrible death, with raining blood and gore.
But at least I'll get your shoes dirty with my blood, so I will count that as a victory.

I haven't posted a character, so it couldn't be directed at me. For a thousand percent of your abilities, that sounds like something the Gurren Lagann anime would do.

Indeed, though RasJurakTahr hasn't been online in twelve thirteen hours, and the first reply for this thread happened ten hours ago.
He might be pleasantly surprised when he comes online and finds a duo ready to accept his invitation. And, if we keep optimistic, he may chose to continue with that character regardless.
Or he may choose to create another character if he does not use TenHass, seeing as he managed to catch the interest of two potential combatants.
Or, it may very well happen as you say. In such a case, I'd be happy to be your target.

Sorry for the tardiness to my reply. I would gladly take either comer. You can join in and anything goes as long as it's not some Half-Sayajin-half-Shinigami-three-quarter-Badger Monster whose eyes are the colour of the rainbow and carries a sword made of invincibilium, made form her own skin which is also invincible, and all of the mind-bending magic is hers to command..
Like, no retarded crap. I'm new to the site and am assuming this is a given.

Thanks for the guide to tiers. I'd say I operate in Tier 2-4. Most often 2.5.
I'll say the thread I'm gonna make is Tier 3 though.

And Psionics is, at least to TenHass, called the Invisible Arts. It, like every artisan's tool, can be used well and poorly. Though you can see the effects of wielding the Psionic gift, you can see the result of every other art, and so the painter's tool and the mason's tool are what makes the art what it is... So the Invisible art's tools are invisible.
They are the mind.
To wield them, one must know how to manipulate the right 'tools' and use them to their purpose. You must also know how they work in the first place.
To use Psionic flames, you need to agitate the matter to the point of it turning incandescent. The race has a natural skill with this art, but nothing great unless developed.

Blood Magic is the control of blood. The force that binds, the force that grants life, the very essence of our being. TenHass may have been born with a mark granting him the power, but he has spent most of his life with that birthmark flensed off of his body, and completely unknowing of the gift. As such his abilities with the discipline are rudimentary at best. He is able to keep blood going where it's meant to once wounded or store draughts in his bloodstream and that's about it. If he was to be more openly powerful, he could lock people in place, make them feel how he wanted to, and all manner of craziness.

I'll get to work on the thread's OP.
