John is an honest and hard working farmer since he was young. He was raised a farmer by a farmer who was also raised the same way, generations of farmers lay in his families history... but he often found himself wanting something else in life. He found each day rather boring, no matter how hard he tried and the day he first held a weapon was one that changed him forever. He didn't know it then, but that day would lead to the beginning of a long journey that may very well claim his life. He was protecting a woman from a mugger, little did he know that this woman was The Sorceress. One of few powerful magi still left in the land and she was far from help less... she zapped the thug and revealed her true self. Shaken, John would try to return to normal life but fantasies of battles rushed through him and he secretly wanted more. The Sorceress would return and offer John the perfect opportunity to start, but John denied the offer as well as his feelings for adventure. It was the second offer that had him out the door... the offer in which he was kidnapped by the mugger, his gang, and the sorceress not far behind.

A name and a possible image would be splendid, I don't get too fancy.
