Theme: Lost

• Explained: A character or thing must be lost.

Components:

• The entity or object in question does not want to be found.
• The object or entity in question is lost due to a theft.
• The object or entity is of great significance to a person/group with no hope of being found.
• The entity or object in question is found.
• The object or entity didn’t seem important until it was gone.

Rules of the Month For Casual:

• Components: 1 Required.
• Text Formatting: Allowed
• Word Minimum: 500 (Zero if Poem)
• Word Maximum: 1,500
• Grammar: Decent
• No Submissions Past: Feb 5th, 2013
• The PM Title Must Be: WOTM #22 Entry: Casual
• In The PM: Your entry, a yes/no on receiving comments and a list of chosen components.
• PM Entries To: WOTM
• No Resubmits Allowed.
• No Mention Of Comments Assumes You Want Comments.

• Components: 2 Required.
• Text Formatting: Allowed
• Word Minimum: 1,000 (100 if Poem)
• Word Maximum: 3,500
• Grammar: Nearly Perfect
• No Submissions Past: Feb 5th, 2013
• The PM Title Must Be: WOTM #22 Entry: Advanced
• In The PM: Your entry, a yes/no on receiving comments and a list of chosen components.
• PM Entries To: WOTM
• No Resubmits Allowed.
• No Mention Of Comments Assumes You Want Comments.

Will try to get some ideas. Again a theme which is not common to me. It's a challenge but I am a writer and words are my sword&shield which I carry until the end of my life.

So, here's a question I've been playing with for a while:

Ignoring the question of whether or not you can manage to fit the components in, are you allowed to make a poem-like thing meant to fit to the melody of a preexisting song?

Hmmm. No one's ever asked that before. O.o Well it basically is just a poem, so I see nothing wrong with that. Not unless Brovo has any objections, anyhow.
