How the hell do you manage issues that concern the physical nature of a romantic relationship? Is it wrong to desire sex? What happens when the desire becomes... unmanageable? Sexuality is part of romantic relationships, don't pull any 'asexual' shit on me.

And by long distance I don't mean "oh yeah, we live a few hours from each other lol it sucks."

I'm talking about "it would take a nine-hour flight to get to where they are."

Help me out here. I'm confused.

Not necessarily looking for solutions, just opinions/experiences.

Personally in my opinion, at first I was a skeptic when it came to LDR's. But I do think they could work. The problem with online relationships is just like any other. "Are they the person they say they are?" Because as everyone knows, it would be extremely easy to lie on the internet. But if you've seen them on cam, heard them on mic, seen pictures. Then maybe it is alright. I mean as far as the sex and stuff goes, I don't think it is wrong to want it. I think it makes it hard when you imagine the person you are dating having their arms wrapped around you, and you know that there is a chance you could never meet that person. But to be completely honest if you can work past that then it shouldn't be a problem. If the person is really meant to be yours, I believe that it will happen. One day you could be together, as long as you stop at nothing to make that happen. Then when you finally get to meet them in person. It makes it that much more special. Because your time with them is precious since it is so limited. You just, like I said, hope one day you can work something out to be together. I also think an LDR is a better way to meet someone, because you get to know them on a more personal level, conversations are your limitations so there isn't any "He/She just wants to get in my pants" because if they are willing to be your partner over the internet. Chances are they want you for who you are. Not for what you can offer them physically.

I don't even know if this made sense. I'm sick and just like whatever, but this is my opinion on it. :3
