World War Z all happened so fast. In 2013 when China had launched a new form of biological missile, much deadlier than any atom bomb, they created an invasion on America's own turf. This was just eh beginning, before World War Z, we just called it WW3. Then the outbreak. China thought that they were so clever, ganging up on us with all of Europe and Asia, only Canada and Britain on our side, but they ruined our world too, even though they were fighting to keep it. The biological warfare was just the end of it. Then it dawned a new beginning for WWZ. Armed troops were retracted from Asia and Europe to deal with their own civilians, the ones that were once on their side. Now they only wanted to kill you. The apocalypse for you guys will start in Portland, Oregon. Your job is not to rid the world of these walkers, but to survive, to fight the dead and fear the living, to survive and thrive. During war time, most of the guns were taken from the civilians and given to the troops, so weapons other than melee weapons are somewhat rare, but definitely not unheard of. Remember, you are not the only humans that still live. You don't always have to be a goodie two shoes and take everyone in, be a group of raiders if you want. This is anarchy, you decide what you want to do, where you go and who you kill.

Although one would think he'd be pessimistic, given the situation the world is in and his own personality, he still manages to keep sight on that silver lining...no matter how thin or distant it may seem.

I have to say, your application looks really really good, but you have a very strong pistol generally issued to generals in war time, and an extremely powerful rifle that is also very valuable. Sorry to say, but you're allowed to keep the pistol and the machete.

Anything Else You Want To Add: After the big uproar with the whole undead walking and stuff, Jack made his way to a local surplus store. He'd hoped to find some survival stuff; MREs, lanterns, camping gear, ect. What he found in the back made him stop dead in his tracks... so to speak. An old half-track, looked old but well taken care of. And, even more good news, the keys were in the ignition! The best part was what sat in the bed, an old quad-.50 setup. He checked the equipment and found it serviceable, but no ammo anywhere. At the very least, it would give thieves something to think about. Jack fired up the truck, loaded all the supplies he could find, and headed out.
