A woman sat in her window frame, leg hanging out and dangling down the side of the house while the other kept her from falling out the window. She held a half drunken bottle of sake in her one hand and fanned herself with a fan, decorated with a pattern that made it look like the night time sky. The woman was quite attractive, he long wavy black hair that appeared that it would reach down to her knees, her deep dark blue eyes, he pale skin that seemed flawless. She also wore black short shorts and a nice purple long sleeved shirt with golden patterns covering the left side and left sleeve. She was barefoot, her toes painted with purple with strange golden symbols painted on each nail, no one the same as the other. It was strange that the woman was in such a torn down home, siding chipping away and the front lawn containing slowly dyig bushes and grass. The only other lively thing was the tree with paper slips tied to the branches, wishes made by local children and even customers.
An orange furred cat leapt into the yard over the wooden fenced it's tail swaying as it walked. Ther was a bell tied to its neck with a red ribbon that jingled with every move. The woman looked down at the cat, recognizing the sound of his bell. "What is it, Soru?" she asked the cat, lifting the bottle to her lips as she took a swig of sake. The cat's eyes narrowed at the woman. "Shouldn't you being bringing in costumes for your shop?" a voice asked from the cat, though its mouth did not move. The woman slouched in the frame with a groan. "It's too hot out!" the woman whined. Soru sighed at the sight, turning around and making his way toward the fence again. "Typical," he groaned. "Fine, I'll go find someone. Just pull yourself together for when we get back." As Soru left the yard, the woman rolled her eyes as she sat up. She place her bottle and fan on the floor so that she could pull a purple ribbon out from in her shirt. She then used it to tie her long hair back into a ponytail before swinging her legs back inside and walking out of sight and into the depths of the building.
Soru walked around the street, looking for anyone who seemed like they needed anything granted. That was easier said than done, however. He lucked out when he saw a boy walking downthe street. He would have to do. Soru strutted up to the boy and sat in front of him. He looked up at the boy, flashing his strange scarlet colored eyes to him. "Mrow!" Soru meowed before strutting toward the building, his bell jingling, hoping that the bow would follow. He made his way into the yard and leapt through the window the woman had been sitting in. Now it was just a matter of waiting.
