"Okay." Shedo said, leaving to go get the woman a cola. He came back a minute later and handed it to her.

The young woman took the drink gingerly from Shedo, managing a meek smile. "Thanks," she said timidly, then staring into the drink nervously. Runs merely smiled. "So, Kyoko was it?" she asked, though the girl had never stated her name. "Tell me, what is it that you want?" The girl looked up at Runa quizzically. "I don't know," she answered slowly. "I don't even know why I came here in the first place... What is this place?" Runa smiled mischievously. "Why, my dear Kyoko, this is a wish granting shop, and it is quite evident that there is a wish you want to have granted. So tell me, what is your wish?" Kyoko thought for a moment, but then sullenly looked into her drink. Runa merely sighed before resuming. "You dropped out of highschool a year early for him..." she said. "Yet he's never around to even appreciate your sacrifices. Tell me, who have you told that you 'live' with Ren Tsuruga?" Kyoko looked up suddenly, obviously by the sound of the famous singer's name. ... But she had never told anyone about that, or that she has dropped out of highschool for him... Who was this woman?

Shedo whispered into Kyoko's ear. "I suggest not asking any questions to Runa. She's a little unkind."

Kyoko looked over to the boy quizzically for a moment, but she supposed that he of all people would know this woman best. Little did she know that he had been hired (forced) to work here an hour prior to her arrival. She looked back to Runa, who was patiently waiting for an answer. "N-no one..." she answered softly. Runa smiled at the answer, strangely amused. "You're a very spectacular girl, Kyoko," she said. "No other girl would go to such lengths for another person, and for a girl your age you have shown great restraint, but here there is no need for restraint. Now tell me, what is your wish?" Kyoko thought for a moment, possibly thinking of a way to retaliate, yet she did no such thing. Instead, she looked into her drink, her eyes welling up with tears. "I... I just want to see him again," she said sadly. "It's been a whole month since he's been home, I hardly ever see him anymore..." Runa listened closely as Kyoko spoke, as if speculating the situation. "... Very well." Kyoko looked up, surprised. "Wha..." "I shall grant your wish," Runa elaborated with a smile. "However, for every give, there must be a take. I shall require payment for my services." Kyoko looked at Runa strangely, not quite sure what she was hearing. "Payment?" she asked. "But you didn't-" "Not yet, I didn't," Runa interrupted. As payment for my services, I would like you to go and purchase a meal from the fast food service you currently work at, then I shall grant your wish. And to make sure you stay true to the task at hand, Shedo here shall accompany you as your bodyguard."
