Meow and Hunt! (SilverRain x AkiBlue)

When the guard came back inside, Daniel would lift up the barrel and slam it down onto the guard's head, leaving Max to do the beating. Daniel would then move to the next guard and kick him from the side. Most of the guards were already tired from an entire day's worth of torturing the hunters, so they didn't put up much resistance. It wasn't long before the coast was clear. Daniel and Max now both had the chance to escape, but Daniel seemed to stop outside another of the rooms. Inside were the other hunters of the guild. Had the Mayor imprisoned them as well? What was this all about?

"Something isn't right..." Max peeked out the door and frowned. "That Mayor is up to something." Max looked at the two unconscious bodies and switched out their hunter uniforms with his own. But only the top one, seeing that they had the same pants. Max slipped on the dark and heavy jacket, slipping on the hood to blend in with everyone else. "We need to figure out what's going on...and possibly help these hunters." He realized Daniel had left, an followed him quickly.
The guards in the other cell were still alive, but they looked confused and scared. "What happened to you all?" Max put the hood down and waited for an answer.

The guards looked back at Max. It looked as if they were hiding from something, preferring the safety of the dungeon. "We're the above ground team. For some reason the town is filled with demons! But the Mayor has captured all the demon hunters down here and killing them!"

Daniel frowned in suspicion and folded his arms. "Where's the Mayor then?"

"We can't get access to the Mayor - he seemed to have locked himself inside his mansion!" said the guard somewhat frantically.

Outside numerous demons flooded the streets. From werewolves to vampires and even ghosts. They seeked to devour the souls of humans. There was also a cat amongst them. Kita walked along the streets, following Max's scent. She arrived outside the doors of the dungeon, but she didn't have the keys to go inside. She felt somewhat responsible for what happened to Max, although Daniel was probably the one to blame.


Deep within the Mayor's mansion, he had used sacrificial blood to draw a summoning circle in his basement. He had used a number of the townspeople as his sacrifices. The whole demon hunter guild was to setup his plan for becoming a demon himself. By creating a hunter guild, demons would be killed and eventually more would come to avenge the other demon's deaths. With such a high concentration of demonic energy, the Mayor was able to cast the summoning circle. It wouldn't be long before the process would be complete.

Max sighed and then began unlocking the guards. "Alright. I'm hearing a twisted leader. You all will be working with me-"

"Who died and made you leader?" One of the men frowned and rubbed his wrists.

Max narrowed his eyes. "Well fine. You can stay here and be locked up." The guard frowned but nodded. He then followed suit with the others and saluted Max. "Now that we are on good terms. I need you all to protect me and Daniel. We are going to kill the Mayor. It's the only possible way to keep the peace."

He could sense the rise of demon aurora and frowned. "We need to move. Fast." Max lead the way toward the door.

(Eh, so I think I hit writer's block with this. I'm out of ideas as to what to do next. Have you got anything?)
